Doctor Strange teaser actually looks pretty cool!

"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

The casting announcement for Thor: Ragnarok just got me more excited for this film...

Spoilers obviously:

Quote

The cast of Thor: Rangarok has been revealed, and its full of name actors playing crazy cosmic Marvel characters, including Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett as “the mysterious and powerful new villain” Hela, Jeff Goldblum as the “eccentric” Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as the Valkyrie and Karl Urban as Skurge. Chris Hemsworth of course stars as the God of Thunder, with fellow Avenger Mark Ruffalo co-starring as the Incredible Hulk. Other returning Asgardians include Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.

It would be cool if he turned up in this, specially if they go with a loose Planet Hulk tie in. Rumours and hope though nothing bar speculation yet.

Thor to die in Ragnarok, Beta could pick up the slack until a resurrection in Infinity Wars part 2 for Thor. You heard it here first!

I know James Gunn ruled Beta out as a part of the Collectors collection in GotG, the internet speculated that he was in one shot but it turned out not to be him unfortunately. Though I guess Gunn could be lying.

My sister just asked me there if there was a preferred movie viewing order over release dates?
I wasn't sure.

Is there a good order to watch the marvel films in, up to, and including civil war?
Just the films mind, none of the TV shows

Release date for sure.

Especially since the post-credits scenes almost always tease the next film.

I don't get this decision...

They keep Peter Quill's dad a secret and set it up as a mystery with teasers for the second film and then they just go out and spoil/name drop it at Comic-Con - something like this should have been kept a secret until the film was released or why bother teasing it.

Comes back to the similar trailer/spoilers discussion that goes on.

Were you wondering what Thor and Hulk were up to during CA: Civil War?

Well, good to hear they already look like they're improving on it, at least!

Also, if you have a bad case of "learn things and can never unsee them" you should definitely *not* watch the Every Frame a Painting video on Jackie Chan's action film. It will ruin every Hollywood fight scene you ever see

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

This just popped up in my facebook feed, so it might be old news at this stage. But the cast for the BLACK PANTHER movie is looking pretty good.

Way too spoilerific as always. It basically reads like a synopsis up until I turned it off. Looks interesting though.

I suspect I will hate what they are doing in terms of "translating" Ragnarok to the big screen, but then again, I don't like their take on Marvel's Asgardians in the first place. Interesting to see the Asgardian Death Goddess there though. EDIT: Will the Asgardian Death have some connection to the Death that Thanos worships?

Would certainly be interesting if they did a connection of that sort, clearly not everyone who watches these movies has any idea about the comics as a medium. So a connection of that sort might be an easier way to introduce that part of Thanos' chacrater, easier to swallow for casual fans than an actual conceptual entity of Death appearing out of nowhere. Though I personally hope we see 'Death' as she is meant to be in the comics, I do realise that it might be difficult to succeed in that portrayal without succumbing to cliche tbh.

What is the difference between movie asgsrdians and comic asgsrdians. I do find this whole we are aliens with super advanced tech even we pretend is magic a bit odd. Also they take swords to a gun fight. Fine for human guns. Stupid for dark elf guns.

From what I've heard...all of the trailer is footage from only the first act.

yeah that always annoyed me.

you have massive anti tank laser guns in your city, why are your soldiers running around with shields and swords?
