Also Re-SHANG-CHI....I LOVE Awkwafina. I would literally watch her in ANYTHING. Her comedy is a fine art, and her delivery is great. She's usually one of my fave things in most movies she's in....and her show NORA FROM QUEENS is great and if you've not watched it yet what are you waiting for?

TEN RINGS felt as close as Disney would let the MCU get to a Chinese Wuxia/Xianxia epic, and I hope the second one leans even farther into it as it felt really fresh to see in a genre that is so dominated by RaRa American stuff.

The one single movie out of phase four I want to see (Spidey No Way Home) is actually NOT on D+. Goddamn.

My phase 4 rankings:
No Way Home- didn't care enough to watch, so this is an honorary ranking only.
Eternals- I didn't hate it, hell, some of the ideas I liked a lot, but it was just... not interestingly presented. Should very clearly have been two separate films, because it essentially functioned as its own prequel and that just didn't work.
Black Widow- fun at the time, but hindsight makes it clear Florence Pugh was carrying it. Most frustrating is the set-up for an incredible action finale on the falling sky fortress, that they just waste.
Shang-Chi- it was fun, but it frustrated me because I felt it was felt short in the wuxia stylings, and also they set the finale in a wondeful fantasy world at dawn then put most of the action against a gray cliff under a grey sky.
Doctor Strange- It hasn't stayed with me much at all, but it was fun while watching, seeing Raimi impose at least some of his style. And Wanda was excellent in it.
Thor: Love and Thunder- I liked it. Come at me.
Guardians Holiday Special: I don't think I'm ever gonna watch it again, but it was so much better than it had any right to be.
Wakanda Forever- bit overlong (actually in hindsight I think it was too short and, like Eternals, could have been two separate movies, but in any case, mis-paced), but the strongest of the actual full movies by a bit.
Werewolf by Night: I mean, it's just a good bit of well-made kitsch-horror. Massively helped by being able to go 'fuck the template, let's do what we want'.
TV shows:
She-Hulk: Faceplant.
Ms Marvel: this is actually quite unfair, because I liked much of what I saw better than some of the shows I put higher, and it was genuinely a quality production with some nice Edgar Wright style visuals and editing. But the single character of the mum in the early episodes irritated me so mch I didn't finish.
Moon Knight: fun and interesting while watching. Ended up feeling a lot of the weirdness was just distraction that didn't come to anything, though. Still, fun enough.
WandaVision: The early episodes drove me up the wall and I barely got through, but it pulled out a good ending and Wanda is a cracking character.
What If?: Kind of light fluff, but good light fluff.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: pacing was a little off at times, and it got a bit lead-footed with some of the villainy, but Zemo was great fun and the leads worked well off each other. And I enjoyed its interrogation of what Captain America might actually mean.
Hawkeye: hey, turns out with good writing, any premise can be enjoyable.
Loki: double stamp. Also, Jonathan Majors fucking killed it.

I enjoyed the female lead stuff a lot more than most of you and I am trying to work out if it is because I'm desperate for it or because as a female, I have a different view and you are mostly emotionless drones raised by the patriarchy.

...the newest news is that Adam Driver is in final talks to play Reed Richards in the MCU.
I'm on board. I'd watch that guy in anything, he's an incredible actor.

I agree w your assessment of Driver as a great actor, but, maybe it's just that i'm mid Slott's recent FF comic run, i think Reed should be a bit older. Driver could sell the 'hipster mad scientist' element, but i'm less sure about the 'experienced adventurer and dedicated dad' element. ...but hey, i liked Krasinski in the roll and that seems to be universally disliked so what do i know?
