Panthers beaten at home by the Seahawks for the third year in a row ! NFL to consider giving Seahawks a bye next year if we are scheduled to play them again. How about it Brujah, still your on top of the worst division in football the NFC Shite sorry South.

Yeah, it sucks. Plus by the time I read this, we weren't even on top of the league any longer, having lost to saints.

Talking about the Niners game? Just seeing the final score doesn't tell half the heartache. It was 13 - 10 with like 20 seconds left. Niners had the ball on the 1 yard line, with first and goal. They had 3 shots at scoring, and could have at least kicked the field goal for the tie on 4th down, and try to win it in overtime, but it should have been an easy score. Except on second down, Kaepernick tries to take it across the line himself, and fumbles inches before breaking the plane. Rams recover, prevent both the winning touchdown AND the field goal from close enough to guarantee the tie - with 2 seconds left on the clock.

It was epic fail. And I had Kaep on my fantasy team. Not that I wad anywhere close to winning, but had I needed those points that shoulda been a gimmie.....

How often do games go to OT? I'm a bit annoyed that we were ahead for the whole game and had to scrape a draw (well I know it's not a draw yet but still...)

The Bears are a new fucking level of pathetic.

Defense sucks, offense sucks, coaching staff sucks, front office sucks.

And the fact that this fuckup Jay Cutler is signed for 6 more years makes me physically ill.

I've not actually paid much attention to what the Giants have been doing this season. Are they good? We're playing them today.

Not really. But, then again, neither are the Niners. I'd take the home team.

On a side note, what's the over/under on how many points the Bears will be down at halftime? 20? 30?

Ok so we didn't have the magicial Super Dome style game today against Cinn. I can't help but think this performance was related to the Refs giving away our earned win against 49ers. Morale is important and those Refs fucked us over big time.

If the Saints are allowing what happened last week to still effect them, then they aren't a mentally strong enough team to win anything anyway.

A more plausible scenario is that they're not very good.

The Saints are weird this season. The running game is the best I have seen in my limited time following the team and the rest stayed largely the same. The one missing player is Sproles and letting him go was a mistake - then again, both Cadet and Thomas can fill that role (better to have let Thomas walk, I guess, but... cap space).

The defense took a step back from last year and needs a better second corner. To my untrained eye it seems to be individual mistakes that give away big gains, not suspect playcalling - unless the play call deliberately leaves receivers open on 3rd and 8...

I honestly think it is Payton's playcalling. Every game in which the team pulls ahead with a handful of minutes on the clock and 4 and 2, it seems like Payton decides to punt and roll the dice, hoping

a) the defense is able to get a 4-and-out and if that fails;
:) the offense is able to pull off an under 1-minute drive for a TD.

So far, he's been horribly wrong.

Dismantling the Eagles was fun. And as scary as Rodgers and the Pack offense is when hot, I think people need to start taking notice of our defense. They started the season slow, but they're really starting to gel. I haven't seen them swarm to the ball like that since 2010, not to mention the big turnovers. If we stay on this roll, look out.
