What is it about playing you guys that turns us into complete incompetents? I just can't get my head around it.

Though I note while the Seahawks weren't doing too well you were absent.

Weren't doing so well as in still 7-4, which happens to be where SF was, which means they weren't doing so well either apparently. :-P

It seems Seattle is back though. allowing 6 total points in two games against very good defenses. I still want to see how they fair against an offensive team capable of putting up 40+ ppg, such as the one they will have coming up against Philly. If Seattle didn't have such a brutal schedule I'd be more inclined to think they will overtake AZ and win the division, but I suspect they will have at least one more loss.

I'm hoping for a rematch in the playoffs, played at Lambeau.

41-10 man. This season has been pretty hectic so far. No clear team for contender really... I don't think 49ers are going to make post season.

LOL.... You didn't WIN that either !!! Enjoy your fortyburger !

Well Seahawks looked ok last night against the unstoppable Eagles.

28 first downs, 85 plays, 440 yards to the Seahawks !!!!!

139 Total yards for the Eagles their worst effort under Chip Kelly ever by 61 yards and worst total yards since 2005. Chip was right, that offence won't work in the NFL !

Finally ..... great job interview by Jim Harbaugh last night, looks like Kraperdick wants to come to Oakland with you but I doubt he can beat out Derek Carr !

Seahawks gameplay is just built for beating an Eagles team. There was no way the Eagles were pulling one out against Seattle. Seahawks defense is too good which puts a stop to the Eagles bread and butter, which is running a huge number of plays in hopes of putting so many points on the board to come away with a win.

Seattle slows their attempt at running plays a lighting speed, and eats time off the clock with both their defense and their offense as their running game is a clock thief.

With that said, I was happy to see Seattle start 3-3, but I also have to admit they've turned things around and are looking as good as any team right now.

I can't really give the edge to anyone vs the Seahawks right now, but that's why they play the games. Green Bay could beat them outside of Seattle on a good day. The Broncos can always have one of those games where they put 50 on the board and are unstoppable, but there's not many teams Seattle has to worry about.

Russell Wilson is just playing on a stellar level.

Seattle at Lambeau for the NFC Championship. Whatever team you are a fan of, you gotta admit that's a game you'd watch.

Yeah, after Brett Favre, I was a Aaron Rodgers hater. Period. I use to couldn't stand Rodgers and would swear he would never be as good as Favre, etc...

But lately I've had to finally come around. Rodgers is spec-fucking-tacular. Plus having Jordy on my fantasy team this year has made me watch more GB games, and Rodgers might end up being in the running for best QB ever one day.

I didn't really realize how accurate he could be nor how well he could time his throws to be in perfect sync with receivers routes. Those cross field routes that Jordy Nelson runs are un-guardable.

That one cross field route Jordy ran on Revis when they beat the Patriots was as sweet as any route I've seen.

Manning and Brady are reaching the ends of their roads here soon, but Rodgers has a lot of football left to play. If he stays on par and even continues to get better, then he'll prolly end up making it into the conversation for best QB ever. If he can win another Superbowl this year it would surely help jump start such a legacy, and depending on how he plays these next few seasons and he could definitely be a top 5, top 3 best ever.

I grew up watching Brett Favre, and Aaron Rodgers is simply stunning. Favre was a helluva lot of fun to watch, but he threw a lot of picks, some games with 3, 4 and 5. He'd be just a little off and would force things. Every GB fan who watched him knows that stomach clench feeling every time he would scramble out of the pocket and throw a bomb off his back foot. It was either going to be awesome, or terrible. He was great because it was more likely to be awesome, but still the threat was there....

Rodgers though? He makes all the throws, and he doesn't throw picks. This season, we'll have a 3rd and 16 and I have no trouble believing "he'll convert it." His mastery of the field is head-shakingly unbelievable. Now we just need the defense to back up the other side. Maybe we've got it this year, maybe we don't.

Guess it's 1-1 today then Sim ! ..... but neither of your teams are going to win a championship.

Niners officially eliminated from the post-season after another beat down from the Hawks !

Think I also heard the door for home field advantage swinging open ready for the Seahawks to walk through ..... Win out and it's home field all the way baby ..... deja vu. :crybaby:

Well my sadness is somewhat alleviated by this:

Quote

Once upon a time, there were three bears: Mama Bear, Papa Bear, and Baby Bear.

Papa Bear and Mama Bear were getting a divorce. The court had to decide who Baby Bear should live with.

The judge asked Baby Bear, "Do you want to live with Mama Bear?"

"OH NO!" exclaimed Baby Bear. "Mama Bear beats me very badly."

The judge, obviously surprised, responds, "Well, then, would you like to go and live with Papa Bear?"

"OH NO!" exclaimed Baby Bear again. "Papa Bear beats me even harder than Mama Bear."

The judge then asks, "Baby Bear, who would you like to live with then?"

Baby Bear responds, "I want to go and live with the Chicago Bears. They don't beat anyone."

So apparently there are Saturday night games on the last day of the season. And this one is a testament to how we have played all year. 21-0 up at one point. Lose by 3 points in sudden death overtime. I don't even know anymore...
