So apparently there are Saturday night games on the last day of the season. And this one is a testament to how we have played all year. 21-0 up at one point. Lose by 3 points in sudden death overtime. I don't even know anymore...

Next week is the last week of the season for your mediocre team !

Oh for some reason I had it in my head that this was the final week of the regular season.

I'm just shaking my head. 5th Dome loss in a row. That last play of the game was just absurd..

Ed: fuck! We are out of the playoffs since Carolina just beat Browns...

The saints had better not come to Tampa and act like the bucs and lose today! The only thing that might make this horrific season tolerable is control of the #1 pick and a potential franchise type QB. (We're still waiting for ONE of those!) I'm in favor of Mariota, myself.

I'm just now tuning into the game in the 4th. Yall are 6 pts up. 20-14. I'm real surprised they re playing Brees today. Figured they would rest him since play offs are a no this yr.

The saints will score a td to take the lead on their next possession. I have confidence in my team.

And there it is; touchdown saints. Under 2 minutes and the bucs give up a safety as well. Excellent!

The Panthers are looking good! Might be one to follow through the playoffs... Would like someone random to win it.

Parted ways with mutual consent. He's been linked to his alma mater Michigan State University for quite a while and will likely sign/has signed with them (the rumoured $48 mln dollar contract probably helps).

Sure "mutual consent" seems like they have been trying to get rid of him for a while...

Niner Management are total fucktards. The fans could care less about who owns the team. They would rather keep the coach when he is as good as Harbaugh. Who cares if he is a self important prick. Just step back and let the man do his job.

Management has been undermining him and leaking information to the media to make him look bad and haven't backed him up when it came to player discipline. They wanted him to be a yes man and were looking for any reason to get rid of him. If Harbaugh hadn't taken the Michigan Job (or any other job for that matter) management was going to fire him. Stupid Politics.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

The Niners were a mess for years before he got there. He took the talent already in place and they were IMMEDIATELY a playoff team, lost one super bowl, and should have went to another last year (if not for a dumbass offsides call, IMO).

I really can't believe they let him go, but I'm stoked for Michigan. With Harbaugh there they'll be very relevant in a few years.

On a side note, being a Bears fan Is fucking depressing at the moment.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Panthers in the playoffs at 7-8-1.

Unbelievable. They play the Cardinals here in Charlotte tomorrow at 4:25 EST.

I don't know how to feel. Even if they get lucky enough to beat the Cards, we'd still have to either go into Seattle and get stomped, or go into Lambeau field and get stomped.

Panthers beat Arizona, but could it have been any easier for them? They were handed this win on a silver platter, as some people are apt to say.

If they play like that again vs Seahawks or Green Bay, it'll be a much different story.

I still have to pull for the home team while they're in it. I'm hoping Detroit beats Dallas so they play the Packers instead of Seattle, IN Seattle.

I think Dallas will beat the Lions though, and we'll be forced to endure an ass kicking in Seattle. I'd much rather take our chances at Lambeau.

I think you got a bit confused there Brujah and contradicted yourself.

Detroit is 6th seed so they WILL play Seattle ( No 1 ) if they beat Dallas ! They cannot meet Packers ... Seattle plays lowest seeded team left.

Dallas wins and they travel to Lambeau for what should be a cracker !
