Amazing stuff!
Of course once you're finished you'll be moving on to recreating the rest of Wu, one presumes?

It would indeed. I had however toyed with the idea of doing Letheras as well and connecting the two through a sort of tiles room in the Azath house of both cities. One thing at a time though

Somehow whenever I think of Darujhistan I see it in a grey/blue gloom. Seeing bright colours is so odd!

You're right! I've been meaning to post this picture for a while - but I haven't had access to my computer. Hopefully this is more like how you envisioned it - if only you could make blue light in Minecraft. I've been refraining from posting darker pictures because it's harder to make out the details.

Absolutely stunning stuff so far! I'm sure you're already aware of this, but just in case: they did something similar like this as a group project for SoIaF, called Westeroscraft. The YouTube video of their stuff (in the unlikely event that you hadn't seen it yet): Good inspiration source for building styles etc.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

I know in the various technic et al packs there are multicoloured lanterns and light blocks, but they don't actually *emit* blue light. They are standard light sources and only the block appears blue. I would not be surprised at all if there were some new mod that added a filtered light source though.

Their version of King's Landing is probably my greatest source of inspiration for this project. I'll switch back and forth between my world and theirs for a quick fly-by if I seem stuck creatively. They're absolutely wonderful! Thanks for the kind words

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything current. There are some mods from back in beta that seemed to pull it off though. As it is right now, I've recolored the redstone lamp block to look blue. As you can see from the shot above, it doesn't look great, but it will have to do. For now.

It's still alive! I've got a couple projects half-completed. Eldra Iron Mongers is my big project at the moment. I'm also working on the circle of faiths, and the environment around the city.

And a couple more screenshots because today was a productive day. The Eldra pit is done, now I need to fill it in with things. And I've finally sorted out most of the terrain, hills, trees etc. to make things more interesting.
I'm trying to use WorldPainter to make the gas caverns under the city, but it's being buggy and it takes 20 minutes each time to export the map for testing. So that may take a while.

That's what I ended up doing. Didn't like default Minecraft caves so I stuck in a big open custom cave layers with cobblestone, stone, and glowstone into another world then copy-pasted with MCedit. I've got a couple ideas what to do with this next that I think will be pretty cool.
1.48gb, downloading now!

Holy moly, I never realized how expansive the old server was. Crazy amount of quality builds. Love your town CF, and ADL's cathedral is pretty crazy. Did you make both Moon's Spawns CF? And by hand? Major props.

Been pretty busy with school lately, but I've managed to fit in a couple more buildings. Focusing on the intersection of Osserc's Narrow, Second Tier Way, and Tralit's walk.
