Expanse has been cancelled on SyFy :-( http://deadline.com/...ped-1202388026/

Hopefully another network will pick it up.

Will be absolutely gutted if this is the end...best sci-fi show out there imo

My initial reaction was 'WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKING FUCK ARE THEY FUCKING INSANE THAT SHOW IS BETTER THAN 99% OF THE CRAP ON FUCKING SYFY??!!!???' ... but reading the article and specifically the bit about the deal Syfy had for three seasons of first run, as a dollars and cents move it's not ridiculous, just massively annoying because now we wait and see if someone else picks it up.

....please freaky multi-angled spacegods, let someone else pick it up....

The details of Syfy's original contract are pretty absurd. Why would they not get some portion/cut of streaming rights?

Knew this would happen. Syfy always kills the best shows. I still haven't forgiven them for Farscape - and at least that got some sort of ending.

I watched it live on a Youtube TV trial last night so I would count in Nielsen ratings. I'm going to rewatch it tonight on DVR for those live+3 ratings.
