Maybe they over sold how bad life on earth is supposed to be. When the martian wants to go the beach though she wades through a see people cooking food on the streets and who generally seemed like shack dwellers to me. Then we see a guy who says to survive in summer they will need blackmarket anti biotics to survive drinking sewer water. All of this was in NY city which seems to be the capital of earth so it just came off that basic was not something anyone would like to be on

Yeah. That's not the sense of it I got from the books, but honestly they don't talk much about it either way. Maybe that really is the way the authors wanted it to be, but seems off to me.

Finally got around to seeing this, and: wow! Absolutely amazing. "Home" is deffo my favourite episode. I didn't read the books so it's all new to me, too.

This is coming back for season 3 soon? Colour me interested!

They are added to amazon prime vid in one mass per season, but only approx a year after airing on syfy/space.

How about Netflix and timing?

The opening scene was both a nice recap and an awesome CGI exploration of the solar system. Everything about this episode was awesome!

Solid season 3 premiere, lots of conflict, the characters are all in interesting places, Ava and Bobbie escaping was suitably tense. I look fwd to them joining up with the Roci crew in the near future.

I like the swerve they're taking with the Roci's crew dynamic, and incorporating Prax a bit more. Am wondering if they're going to skip the book plot involving
Spoiler
so they're setting up the internal strife now with the crew pissed at her for her coms to Fred Johnson in last season's finale.

That last chunk of protomolecule... that's going to be a problem.


And, this was awesome... as always.... i don't care how big and bad your missiles are.... YOU CAN'T TAKE THE RAZORBACK.
