I got only the two new lvl IB weapons (The rocket launcher and autorifle), and didn't max out any of my characters this go because I didn't get enough concentrated time to play sadly. It was a challenge though and that was great!

I've run into a few old weapons that have been upgraded with new stats. There are Multi-tools kicking around with 320 now, up from the 280 they are traditionally. But only as drops from pvp...not available anywhere to buy or the like.
I'm wondering when the Xur purchases are going to jump from the 280 stuff to something stronger.

WTF is up with the matchmaking this weekend? This is the third day in a row I've been teamed up with absolute fucking amateurs. For straight matches over and over.
I don't get it.
Anyways, I grabbed thar primary shotgun from Xur, Universal Remote...it's pretty good, but I'm not good enough with a shotgun to make it my primary often.

Oh god, I've have HATED this IB. I've been put into team after sucksalot team. I've rage quit more times than I care to admit, and thrown my controller at least three times.

Sorry I didn't get to holler at you last night to play together, I only got about 20 minutes or so and my wife was talking to me the whole time (she'd had a pregnancy doctor appt. earlier and wanted to tell me about it), so I could not have hooked up my microphone while I played.

So I've decided to give this game a serious break. PVP just affects my stress levels something fierce, and last night was the last straw. 4 games of Salvage and all 4 were against some uber-gamers who were also dicks. And one set of matchmaking threw us against a team of 3. I threw the controller after the fourth match at the couch, the stick covers popped off...and I realized the game was getting to me on a severe level. My wife said it's just going to continue to cause me stress I don't need.
I'm giving the disc to my wife and having her put it somewhere I don't know about.
I may come back to it sometime down the road, but for now I gotta stick with gaming that is non-PVP...so I'm going to finally try the UNCHARTED series (the collection of PS4 remasters for the 1st 3 games).
Just wanted to give you the heads up BK that I won't be on Destiny for probably a long time.

Edit: Also I have an item that will turn any character into lvl 25 instantly. I already have a lvl 30 warlock. Should I go Titan or Hunter for my next character? I prefer PvE if that matters

I would, but after 2 years the game had raised my stress levels (from Crucible) to levels which I noticed were affecting me in a negative way healthwise...so I stopped and I gave the disc to my wife who has hidden it for the time being so I'm not tempted to play it.
I'll come back to it one day, but not for a long while. Sorry man.

It just takes some getting used to Crucible. There is a rhythm to how people play it (which CAN evolve) and it all just happens very fast. I learned that you can't stand around (unless you as sniping from the corner of the map; and even then not for long) ever.
Watch out for Shotgun sliders: they take the fact that the shotguns are overpowered and that you will be aiming for their head and slide underneath your crosshairs and take you out from 10 feet away with one shot. I have learned to watch for the slide and melee anyone who tries it. Seems to work. I see less of them now than I did six months ago...I think they have figured out that people are on the watch for the move now.
The new one I saw most recently used ALL the time is the Hunter flip/roll movement. It basically means they are largely un-shootable while they do it...so people have learned that if they just perform this maneuver over and over again they are kind of invincible (unless you hit them with a super or a grenade) and can get away from you while you unload into them...then they get you as you reload.

Lota of subtle changes to destiny. But the one that I really notice and appreciate is that it feels like bosses have a tenth of the health they used to. Strikes are still challenging but now emptying a clip of machine gun ammo into a bosses head actually does something.

I don't know if it's just been bad luck of the draw but the heroic strikes are killer. I drew the restorative mind yesterday and sabre today. Both with arc burn.
The restorative mind just has to look at you to kill you. And is immune to damage untill you move a relic from a to b without cover. Possibly would not be so bad if not for the radoms without chat I had but seriously!
Couldn't even get past the opening 3 min for the sabre raid. Ironclad shielded taken captains firing arc weapons. Wiped the raid every 5 seconds

Yeah this whole year 1 year 2 divide if that's what your talking about sucks. Got a vault full of exotics that are now garbage!
Okay my Crucible skills improved a bit. Sit in the middle of the team pack these days. Don't want to whine but I think connection or pings could sometimes be my problem. I often see people run away from me only to then suddenly die and for me to be awarded a kill once the game catches up.
Also PVP is never really my thing. What's the advice for gear in the Crucible?
