My Lord,

It looks like our path to the other races are blocked by multitudes of ancients. The good news is the ancients are content to hold their systems versus the alien scum that have banished us to the dredges of the universe. Who knows how long before the balance of power will shift and we are forced to confront any aggressors. Fortunately it looks like there are minimal routes to our territories and we have also uncovered a resource heavy system but it is highly unstable. What course of action do you order?
