Oh, a bit of rules trivia that I found interesting. Almost totally defensive but useful.

Species with starting techs can research those techs.

It's too late now. I also can't risk the supernova one more round especially now I have Zero science.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Gnaw I have been running through some figures and simulations and I think my greatest shot at beating whatever Khell has to offer is definitely building a cruiser in Iota Bootus and moving that into the hex and also if you could offer another interceptor that would be amazing. If not that is okay, I am due some good luck. :)

I find it unlikely that this will be the last reaction possible this round, though I'm not sure I see what you'd be unable to do if you moved your fighter closer to the front.

As for what, well, we'd have to wait and see.

More of a conservation of resources thing. If I go orbital (for money) I can buy the ancient monument next round. Try to make up some of my VP deficit with nice permanent VPs.

But that's just my pacifist strategy shining through. I can forgo the monument if you need the help, no problem.

I'm not sure spending more materials on non-militaristic projects would be wise at this point. We need to be more adaptable from here on I reckon.

Yeah, I was debating that, and your point is well taken. With some conversion I still can pick up that development before one of the other groups does, which is a good bonus for me (considering expansion of any kind requires me taking the traitor card).

It just increases the danger of somebody else grabbing that development if I don't get it first, I guess. D'rek is definitely stockpiling money (unless her playerboard is wrong)...and I can't think what for exactly if she doesn't plan to pick up that development herself.
