I'd like to ask everyone to look over Okaros' theory about Eloth again, because while Gait's immediate voting of Trake after Trake said he'd be afk all day is scummy, his response to Barghast's pressure is just... ridiculous.

Holy crap, Alkend is back.

I've been back to look at Eloth. His votes are illuminating. He voted Jalan based on gut several times. He voted Rashan to get a lynch, although he qualified this by saying that he didn't think Rashan was scummy.

His case on Barghast is also kind of iffy. He said he thinks that Barghast 'can smell the win', but Barghast's play is not really that different from how he has been playing all game.

Do you mean Eloth's attack on you? Because if Eloth has decided that today is D-day then his case could be a final push to win the game for scum. I've seen Tatts and GH use similar strategies at end game.

could be. I'm just having a really hard time reconciling as coincidence that he went all out balls to the wall right after I made a case on Tellan and Tellan got 2 votes out of 6.

Not to mention that that doesn't really make sense. Unless there are 4 non-symp scum and Barghast were one of them who knew all the others, killers would not know for sure if this is D-Day or not either, so they shouldn't be doing any victory-smelling-behaviour changes. Symps maybe, but we aren't trying to vote symps here. Killers who have coasted all game and are suddenly getting a mathy/timing case pressuring them and overreact in defense though...

You're telling me. Eloth's reaction is more scummy than Mockra's, and I think your previous theory helps back it up.

Well, there's 12 hours left. If we can't reach a top candidate consensus, we should find the person that the most of us would willingly vote, even if it's not our top choice. It's the only way to have any sort of consensus without a no-lynch.

I'm prepared to vote for Tellan or Eloth. I don't see much point in a Gait lynch, general consensus seems to be that Gait is a symp if he is scum.

Negotiation this close to the line often results in the player lynched being town, wouldn't you agree?


WCS there were 5 initial scum, one of which is now dead so this lynch will be the deciding day.

BCS we have 1 scum general left and EM was the other.

My #2 vote is Eloth. There are a few I won't vote for.
