Congrats twelve! Well done :p

Now, did I end up last or second to last?
Take good care to keep relations civil
It's decent in the first of gentlemen
To speak friendly, Even to the devil

Congrats Twelve, definitely nobody going to be beating that!

And yeah, I think we all learned a lot from this game, and the next one will be even more intense!

I may be bankrupt too - it all depends on whether I counted on being able to colonise some money planets at the end of the round in order to afford upkeep. If I did, then I'm boned. At this point, I can't remember. I *think* I may be alright.

Well-deserved victory, twelve. Congrats!

Next game, I intend to take uber-seriously (aside from the necessary RP, of course). No more making things up as I go along. 3 moves ahead at all times and all that.

You might be. Who won in Vega? D'rek I assume but I can't remember. Every hex you bankrupt will lose you either one or two money cubes. What is your finaly upkeep, 21 or 25? If it's 21 you are fine. If it's 25 you are probably hosed.

Khell, I think you are okay.

I went bank and looked at Gnaw's updates and he has you passing on action #8 so that means you took 7 actions and you have 5 hexes. Subtract the extra cube for advanced robotics and you spent 11 cubes. That puts you at -21 upkeep and you have 21 income. No bankruptcy.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I'm here. Mistake count is up to 5 now I think. But I could be mistaken.

The numbers on this are NOT correct. When I did this last night I was just seeing which categories were static. Turns out that it's most of them.

@D'rek I was either looking at this cruiser or at GP's interceptor. (there has got to be a better way of doing this. Having 5 different windows open is ridiculous.)

@Tatts

1d6 == 1 6 sided dice. The "Y", "O", "R" == yellow, orange, red. Xd6R == the number of dice in that roll == the number of AntiM cannons. 4 x starbases at 1 cannon each == 4 red dice == 4d6R
Between your shields and lack of computers, the final engagement was turning into a 'miss'fest. The 10d6R and 40d6R represent the number of AntiM cannons firing over a period of 10 engagements. I.e. it was 4:30 in the morning and I was tired of rolling dice for a meaningless battle.
@CF&D'rek Since technically the 102 battle is two separate battles, I'm only rerolling the second one between uh. wait. Didn't you win that one??

The first time you did it, you had CF defeating me but you added my computers wrong and I would've won.

Then you re-did it and I defeated CF, then lost to Khell because his lasers were overcharged and dealt triple damage.

So now you just need to re-do the second battle between Khell and me.

Yaaaay! Thanks Gnaw, I know re-doing that one (twice) must have been frustrating! You're doing a great job!

It's not the re-rolls that are frustrating. it's the "why" I'm doing them. Stupid mistakes because the info needed is spread across multiple tabs/windows.

Any spreadsheet gurus want to take a shot at making one for this? Something that would let us just plug the dice roll in and it kicks out the hit/miss? Although for battles with different shields would be a problem

Yeah,

It's called a spreadsheet. I'll play around with one and see if I can't come up with a template that can easily be updated to make resolutions easier.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I think that wraps up everything me-related.

205 - Khell doesn't blow up anything, yay!
103 - Morgoth genocides me, lose hex
102 - Win!
204 - Win!
223 - Tapper sends my fleet sailing through the void in angsty clumps

2 discs left on the board, and I get 103 back, so post-combat I will:

Influence 102 )Pollux)
Influence 204 (Vega)
Influence 303 (Eta Cephei), and colonize it with one money cube

That will leave my Upkeep phase resource math as:

Money: 2 +28 -30 = 0
Science: 10 +15 = 25
Materials: 0 +12 = 12

Finally then, my VPs are:

21 from Hexes (Rigel=3, Mu Herculis=1, Lambda Fornacis=2, Eta Geminorum=3, Beta Centauri=1, Eta Cephei=2, Beta Delphini=1, Mu Arae=3, Pollux=3, Vega=2)
6 from Artifact Link (Rigel, Eta Geminorum, Eta Cephei, Vega, Mu Arae, Pollux)
3 from Technology
13 from Combat Reputation (3, 3, 3, 4)
1 from Ambassadors

Total: 44 VP

Not even close to Twelve :p Good game everyone!

You have a ship there but I have no idea what your money situation is. Actually it should be okay as you lost Altair so yeah you can most likely settle Gamma Valorum and be okay upkeep wise if you passed early enough.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
