Also, D'rek, I can't believe you gave me my first neg-rep ever, and for an innocuous comment too! I made it as un-spoilery as possible, your comment was just feeding wrong information! :p

I stand by it. There's absolutely no reason to "spoiler bait" earlier book forums with unasked for spoilers or allusions to future books. The OP of that thread was just making a fun little comment about what (s)he may or may not have perceived to be just a regular bit of the Malazan world and you put up a giant flashing neon sign saying "I won't tell you what, but there's more to this than has been revealed so far so your current interpretation is incomplete" when no one in that thread asked for any sort of future spoiling. Because you posted that, it is quite possible that when the OP reaches the point in the future books that more information on that topic is revealed, the surprise they would have otherwise experienced no longer occurs because you hinted at it for no reason back in the HoC forum.

deploy 2 colony ships both from the money track

(yes, yes, I know this is a bit premature but I want to get this out there as soon as possible.)

Influence Epsilon Eridani and colonize money?

281 is delta corvi and that has a money planet and an orbital. Colonize both as money. Colonize my home world with money.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I was going to roll 4d6, but the difference in computers make that unfeasible. Tatts knowing what your next hits were would affect his decision on targeting.

Random is random. It feels unfair because our ideas of what random is do not match the reality of a random draw

I stand by it. There's absolutely no reason to "spoiler bait" earlier book forums with unasked for spoilers or allusions to future books. Hardly! It's not as if they themselves hadn't brought up the possibility earlier and I suddenly came out of nowhere with it. Nor that I even confirmed whether it was that particular idea or some other one which was correct, only that there was more to it, just like the OP thought. I would argue that only makes things more intriguing, as they know they have to wait to find out more. Calling it spoiler bait is extreme, I certainly do not go around the book forums looking to ruin people's reading experiences.

Anyway, I'm not looking to start an argument over this, I was just confused by it.
