So...

Due to meeting Puck and Miss Savage, I have changed my mind with regard to the BBQ. The thrill of meeting new and worthwhile people who share a passionate interest in the Malazan material outweighs any possible downside.

However, we do reserve the right to restrict numbers.

We have a date - the weekend of 13th July. We will be up and running from July 12th through to the 15th.

Also, Cougar, don't forget about the banner ;p

Positive age discrimination I like! I have already added to the diary - it will be day 4 of the 1st Ashes test - so we know what will be on the big screen.....

highlights of the one sided victory that occurred over day 1&2?

In all seriousness, i'd like to put myself down as a provisional for this for once.

Provisional!
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Provisional maybe at best at the minute, my life plans are currently going through something of a crisis.
Is this my mid-life crisis? Perhaps I should buy myself a BMW...

Mum and Dad got Jayne and I a camper van holiday for our wedding. If it is around this time then I'll ask her if she wouldn't mind coming to this. So it could be a possibility. I have always wanted to come to a BBQ at your house.

If you'd like to come and Mrs Tattersail is up for it, that would be great. :veryangry:

I think it would be neat if you guys shared some of your history with new people to the board and malazan. It seems like many of u have lnown each other for quite some time, and you all are pretty tight. I dont lurk on other boards, jjust this one, so i dont l know if yr on other boards but according to past coversations you guys have built up quote a near relationship. Did it grow around MBotF or another series? Also is this a result of being uK based? Or do people come from all over?

I would never presume that i would be welcome, and im kinda reclusive anyway, so my main interest in this is purely just informational. Besides my bbq ribs would blow your collective minds.
Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own bowels was made through brainwave transmissions, with Al the Poop Observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Doctor Poopet could see and hear. Trapped in the past, Doctor Poopet finds himself pooping from life to life, pooping things right, that once went wrong and hoping each time, that his next poop will be the poop home.
