Good Game Mott. You certainly spiced things up in there.

It honestly doesn't matter, it has a better ending now than two finds night one and two turning out to capture scum. It's got to be 50/50 now whether town get them or not. You see it looks like Kalse was deflecting from Rashan, so once Kalse goes they might lynch Rashan. Only thing is Kaschan is cleared. Until the end of the game that is. I think this could go to the wire.

I enjoyed myself.

I never RP which was fun.

I hardly take notes and can see how helpful they can be.

Good game. I enjoyed it

There is NO way they get Rashan, he was seen as my possible partner, and Sorrit is gonna try to clear him.

This is what I have wrong with the decision of Mott not to inform the thread that she made a change to the basic rules of mafia. Because since we lynched Venge and we have to assume mafia works normally, then that means Kaschan is SO likely not to be scum its unbelievable.

Don't think town can take this. Don't think scum deserves to win it. I'm not mad at you Mott, understand that mistakes happen, but you really should have put the fuckup on thread imo.

I enjoyed the hell out of playing regardless, but dammit I want to win a fucking game for once in my miserable mafia career. I don't even draw scum, and scum wins all too often.

THAT SAID...

town actually did pretty well this game after the first part. Not in results, but in effort. I haven't seen much this much effort in M&P games in a while, and I think it comes with Sixty being back and other people trying to pick up their game a bit. I''m hoping he doesn't stop playing because of the shit low posting shit.

It wasn't a premeditated change though. Doing that would have as good as confirmed the finder and it wasn't something I caught till a day or two later since so much shit was going on at the time. To have a PI, coming from the mod, would have given town a massive advantage. If I done it differently, looking back, since I was pretty all over the place at the time, I would have told Roldom who the symp actually was, he could have then revealed on the killer and kept that to himself. Although if he revealed that on thread too it would have put scum at a bad disadvantage as well, if he had been believed, which if they'd confirmed Kaschan as rightly being scum he likely would have been. What I am most annoyed about is not asking someone for help and just floundering around trying to fix things, GH was a great help though and HD has been brilliant here, as well as Venge.

Still, you don't need to worry about me modding for quite some time. :p

I came here to update stuff but I need to flee again, hopefully I'll have time in a bit.

You're probably right. I just want to win.

Don't quit modding, just get a better co-mod! Obdigore has been conspicuously absent.

I can do eet.

Killers yesterday/today:

Kasch

Quote

hey KL, what's going on? have you developed a master plan? pretty please

Rash

Quote

Not really, I'm trying to work and play mafia at the same time. I'm still not sure whether or not we should kill Tennes tonight. But maybe we should go with Sorrit since everyone's pretty sure he's inno and his thread mucking isn't terribly useful any more

Kasch

Quote

well, we killed Tennes 2 days ago, hon. you so blood thirsty.

hells, yes, kill that mouthy punk. I like the way you think, KL. Let me contemplate before you make it official.

Rash

Quote

Oops I meant telas :p but we can kill tennes twice because I fucking love killing tattersail :p

Kasch

Quote

Tatts doesn't remember, but he got on my list long ago when he was my killer-partner and he got recruited, the very next day, he lynched me...oh, the humanity

Telas is partially not thinking of us as scum since he's buing into Kalse WIFOM, are you sure we can't use him?

Rash

Quote

Or maybe we should stick with killing someone who's useful to town. Telas tends to steer clear of us even when he implicates us, and Lio and Tellen are under pressure a lot of the time Atra looks likely to get lynched. Argh decisions.

Kasch

Quote

I'm going to bed soon, whoever I vote for, don't be to obvious if you vote the same way, make sure it's a last minute "well if I have to" kind of thing, we don't want to appear following each other (I know you know this)

I responded to you a bit, maybe call me useless or something, just please don't get me lynched

Rash

Quote

We can use him I think. Who to vote for btw, it's hilarious that neither of us has voted :p Could get us into trouble, but hey...

Kasch

Quote

I'm gonna vote Atrahal - we leave Sorrit alone, leave Telas to spread WIFOMy goodness
let me think a minute

Rash

Quote

me too going to vote now.

Kasch

Quote

crap, now I have to hammer somebody, not so convinced now, stupid levels of game play

Rash

Quote

y and convince people to vote for Tellen tomorrow. Fairly obvious, but people will still be unsure enough of Tellen to not be sure. Hopefully.

Kasch

Quote

I voted Tellan, let Sorrit hammer

Rash

Quote

probably a good idea

hmm that changes things. I guess we leave atra alive. what do you think of Lio?

Cont.

Kasch

Quote

hes low key, probably good choice - expect Telas to be on you heavy, following his WIFOM - maybe you can discredit him that way, he is like a dog with a bone though

Telas - leave alone unless you want to try to convince everybody that he was killed to frame you
everybody else is fair game

I'm gonna stick around 5 minutes more if you want to talk in here

Rash

Quote

Sweet. God Sorrit was giving me heart attacks. Yeah I'll fend off the WIFOM, hopefully a Tellen lynch can be pushed but we'll see. God it's getting close, I can't believe we've made it so far :p

Rash

Quote

Hmm, if Lio is going to push an Atra lynch I wonder if it's better or worse that we kill him tonight?

Kasch

Quote

was there anybody not around just now? and who was not likely to get lynched? maybe make them think that whoever wasn't around put in the kill order based on them being gone - well, I guess provisionals would cover that

Quote

well, Atra shows up last minute, knows Lio is gunning for him, kills him off...is that plausible?

Rash

Quote

yeap why not. let's go for it!

Kasch

Quote

if I understand you

P-S Kill Liosan

that ok for you, KL?

Today

Kasch

Quote

KL - are you around?? With Sorrits vote, we can go to work

Curse the times zones!

Rash

Quote

just about to go to bed, do we want to speed lynch this?

Quote

I'm tempted to leave a vote and hope you get to it on time. I need to get to bed soon (sorry, playing minecraft :p)

Quote

Okay I've really got to sleep. I'll be up again in 5/5 and a half hours, so if you're around then and nothings changed, we'll get on there and do this.

Kasch

Quote

dont go, lets talk

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! :p

5.5 hrs of suck

Quote

We can vote Sorrit together, goes to night, we kill somebody, tomorrow is 2 scum v. 1 town

Rash

Quote

I'm back
Let's do this!

Quote

Kill Telas?

Quote

you got it

P-S Kill Telas

'Tis done

Telas yesterday/today

Quote

If not Tellan / Rashan ... Sorrit is looking pretty scummy to me right now. Mostly gut.

Quote

That or if Liosan is scum, then who's his partner?

He's been pushing hard on Atrahal -- not him
Tellan and Sorrit have been pushing him -- not them

No one seems to be defending him. So either Rashan or Kaschan? Depends how they react I suppose.

Quote

Is Kaschan subtly defending Lio? That could be our pair, and Kalse would be mr. huge balls.

Quote

fuck it I need to stop second-guessing myself. Gonna guess Lio is just trying to defend Tellan.

Quote

Welp. Doesn't really matter who I guard. Might as well confirm Rashan.

Quote

Please let me die so I can see SH.

I probably won't, though, since now I'm up there as far as suspects go.

Quote

My guess: they kill Kaschan, Liosan, or Rashan. Not me or Sorrit, sadly for both of us.

Quote

My 50/50 guess was right, haha.

Telas, Atrahal, Rashan, Kaschan, Sorrit remaining.

2 low posters, 1 middle poster, 2 high posters. Huh.

6 possible combinations. RIght now I only have the brainpower / attention span to analyze the last train, really.
AR - Rashan voted Atrahal to L-1, and Sorrit decided to hammer Tellan instead of Rashan. Unlikely.
AK - Kaschan put Tellan to L-1, and would've been the hammer if not for the Sorrit ninja-remove. Highly suspicious.
AS - Sorrit was pushing Tellan the whole time, and choosing between Tellan and Atrahal hammered Tellan. Unsure.
RK - Both low posters, hard to get a good read on either. Rashan wasn't around at all for the Kalse stuff, but Tellan was the one to derail from Kaschan. Unsure.
RS - I'm tired, no clue.
KS - No clue.

Rashan and Kaschan have so little content I don't get much of anything from the top of my head.

But from what I have:
A - neutral
R - 1 toward unlikely
K - 1 toward scummy
S - neutral

If Kaschan is scum then his partner had to have contributed to the swing toward SL, I think. So Rashan. But Rashan hardly had a pivotal role in that swing, yet everyone else on that train in CI.

I'm going to bed. Getting no fuckin sleep this week thanks to this game, QQ

Quote

I'm going to let the thread stew, too tired to care all that much anymore.

If Sorrit is town, he had a 50/50 shot of hitting scum. If people log on and Atrahal doesn't get double-hammered we can end it by killing Atrahal.

If Sorrit is scum, he just laid down his vote on a town with a reasonable excuse. If 1 town believes him it is gg. This wouldn't be as urgent as the prior, I think, since the other scum would be waiting to hammer, and any town SHOULD be pretty cautious to vote at all on d-day.

that was a killer game, Mott, thanks for setting it up

I will comment later, anybody want to moan and sabre-rattle about the low posters, please proceed the floor is open. I know it sucks, but it was the best I could do. I didn't want to sub out, or get killed intentionally, so I had to hang in there.
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Completely fucking Random...sigh... Well nothing that you can do about that. At least in the last game ansible alted me and then went after me. Next time you run a paired killer with a symp. If you don't have enough players for the paired healers then go with finder and a healer. Or healer and vig or finder and vig. Or cult leader and healer and vig or FM and finder and Godfather.... :p

Are you running the game through the MM?

Sorry Vengy. Well, a little bit sorry. I was glad to have killed you :p

Okay, last post.

Do any of you remember the newb and vet game? Do you remember Gust Hubb the scum? Do you remember how he controlled thread the entire time, acted the concerned townie, and still came out with the win?

That. That was interesting to watch. The feeling of losing in that way is pure agony.

Losing to low posting scum just leaves me feeling empty and wishing I could have the time I spent building those cases back.

As ment said, sometimes RL can be a bitch... but... it just fucking sucks to play against this.

Fucking bed time. FUCK.

You have KL and HO as scum, what did you expect? I think they've played tremendously, they've been around and deflected attention away from themselves, look how cool calm and collected Kaschan was when Kalse revealed, they didn't even try to kill him that night. The night I was killed I was coming for Rashan/Kaschan the next day. There was a reason for it but I would have wanted Rashan dead anyway. Buddying up to me, coming on and posting once someone mentions that they aren't posting. Kaschan for not actually trying to build a case. Neither scum have built a case this game to my knowledge.

I do think they've done well not to get lynched!!

Tattler you are a darling. And I'm really sorry about the lowposting, I was supposed to be back home by the time the game started, but I had a really sick relative so I was away for a week with my family, then a long as drive home where I caught a goddamn hospital stomach bug and spent the last of the trip throwing up and was pretty much unconscious for two days, and then spent the week catching up on the week and half of school I missed while trying to keep up with the thread, so it wasn't planned lowposting at all, and I felt like it was too late in the game to switch out with someone. So sorry.

But good game everyone, I felt like I spent the whole thing scrambling around in a panic! And it was great to play with you HO, next time maybe we'll mend our terrible low-posting ways :p

Well, I can't feel too bad about the whole game. I didn't play half bad, and if not for that finder thing I think I had a shot at pulling it out. I should've just listened to my gut, though--everything rashan did for the days 3/4 SCREAMED scum to my gut but I had no concrete evidence.

Oh well, gg. As much as low posting pisses me off, I think my work blocked the web vpn I was using to access malazanempire or something because it times out now. So any games I'm in will be much less active from me as well, unless I can find a different web-based proxy/vpn. Meanwhile, reddit was recently unblocked--go figure.

Good game scum, I never really had any suspicions on either of you until the fun with Kalse.

And KL, not sure why, but we never seemed to be posting around the same time.

I defy even you to have posted this week!

Also timezone is GMT+12, and almost no one is available when I have the most time (which is late afternoon early evening). It's easier in bigger games. :p

Guys, again, sorry for the low post fest, but it was really all I could do. I'm sure future games will see instant lynches for low posting.

Roldom, your reveal was so awesome for the game.

I was ready to have KL throw me under the bus to have a chance to win, glad it didn't happen.

Brujah, why did you vote so early then leave, knowing there were 2 of us out there? Risky

KL, you were a great partner, enjoyed it. Last night was my favorite because I actually got to participate in the thread with everyone
