-Not too inspired by the current cases. There's a few people I'm going to take a deeper look at, so I hope to be able to post a good case later today.

So basically you're saying, if you don't have an argument that I'm okay with, you should just shut up. That works real well in a game that's text based. Yours and Korbas' lack of much real input is annoying, and doesn't help town in the least. But you're not town, are you? So why would you care, right? And the fact that you can stand there and defend your 'no lynch is acceptable' with 'well Kalse was gonna be modkilled, so it's okay' is just crap. Come on now, presumably, town's only power is the lynch. A no lynch is never acceptable. A 1/7 chance of hitting scum is better than a 0/7 chance, not to mention the information (even if it's not terribly reliable information) gathered from a lynch is ALWAYS useful.

You admit to not being surprised that Anthras CF'd inno, and that you're still okay with having gotten rid of him. Pretty scummy if you ask me. Spam posting is annoying, but so is willful ignorance of the way the game should be played.

I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that rather than constantly bandy about every little thought without substance, it is better to focus solely on saying things that have any merit. Whether I or anyone agrees is not important. But if I randomly toss into this post that right now I think Karosis, Korbas and Atrahal are the scummiest, does that really contribute anything? It's just extra thoughts being tossed into the air with no usefulness attached.

I don't mean to sound like an old fart, but there was a time when town did not vomit every little thought onto the thread, and we were a hell of a lot better at finding scum because everything was so much more concise and easy to communicate. There'd be discussions about the game, there'd be cases, and they'd be easily encapsulated. Right now, I feel like there are 20 miniscule, intangible cases that all amount to nothing. I would much rather have 3 solid, structured cases that everybody can agree or disagree with easily.

We will not catch scum with a bunch of little touchy feely statements.

So everyone else is playing where they assume everyone is scum? Times sure have changed... OTOH, it explains a lot about the other players' behaviour if they are acting on BCS every day instead of WCS. They don't need to care about logic and cases, they can just vote randomly with no explanation (see Sorrit above) because everyone is scum so they'll always be right!

Explain it away how you want. I don't think most people play assuming everyone is scum. I don't. But look back at the way you worded that. It certainly seems to me as if you know he would cf inno. You could have thrown a "most likely" in there and it wouldn't have been suspicious. But you didn't, and I believe it to be a mindset-of-a-killer slip.

I don't disagree with the way you say people spout off too much on thread. It DOES alert the player to play better, if they are scum and you don't pursue it. But that's about the only useful thing you've said so far.

Yeah, the Anthras removal and the Ano vote seem to be what turned the most likely lynch from Sil to Anth. As well as Anth irritating people into voting him. Good play by him if he was a symp.
