So what's interesting here is you're right, and Bondi has already started her song and dance about not releasing the unreacted files in a presser yesterday...BUT....she stumbled a lot because she and Patel and probably others are fall guys and I think they are starting to know it.

1. She can only defy congress so long...and Massie and Kanna knew she would try this end-run and so they baked into the thing that any redactions must come with a full (UNREDACTED) explanation to congress on why that section is redacted AND it must be narrow (meaning they can't just broadly select Trjump shit and say "no"), it also says she can't redact parts just due to embarrassment of the individuals...they've left her VERY little wiggle room in the actual text. The problem is that this administration and DOJ have no exactly cared about following the laws/rules thus far, so they are likely going to trample all over those stipulations and then ask to fight it in court...meaning dragging it out beyond the 30 days.

2. These files ARE coming out. I think even Bondi and Patel know this...it's just a matter of time now. Not the least of which is that it's not like these are just a box of papers....they are digital files, that were in the possession of the previous Admin, and 1000's of eyeballs have seen them...I would also suggest that some foreign entities (Israel?) have seen them as well, or the UK...Prince Andrew didn't lose his royal title and shit for a Democratic Hoax, after all. So they WILL come out, be it by courts or by leaks...it's happening. I don't think any of them can fully stop it now, just slow it down.

3. The first thing Trump did after he signed it? Tried to gut the Federal protections for Whistleblowers...no shit, literally the most recent thing he did was try to head off leaks.

4. The Trump administration is in its death throes and is lashing out every which way...we just don't know how long that will take.

5. Nazi Propaganda mouthpiece Barbie seems to be struggling with her role (apparently no one told her about Sean Spicer, and all the rest of them and how being trumps lying mouthpiece affected them)...maybe she could go home to play tradwife to her 60 year old gross husband.

And he's calling for the deaths of Democrats who have made a video telling members of the US military that they do not have to follow orders when they are illegal and that their oath is too the constitution not to the orange moron (editorial bits my own).

So nothing bad can happen when the president calls for elected officials to be put to death, surely.

The most stunning moment came when a reporter asked Mamdani about his claim that Trump is a fascist.

"Are you affirming that you think that president Trump is a fascist?" asked a reporter.

"I've spoken about—" began Mamdani.

"That's okay, you can just say yes," interjected Trump, who was clearly charmed by the mayor-elect.

"Okay. All right. Yes," said Mamdani.

"I don't mind," said Trump, patting him affectionately.

Thanksgiving Turkey Pardoned After Making $100 Mil Bribe to Donald Trump

As part of a timeless American tradition, a Thanksgiving turkey has received a pardon from the US President this week, following an unrelated $100 million bribe it made to one of Trump’s businesses.

In a pre-Thanksgiving ceremony to kick off the festive spirit, it’s become customary for the President to pardon a literal turkey. This year however, the ritual hit a snag when Trump began asking what he was getting out of the transaction.

“My people came to me and told me I was pardoning a bird, but I wasn’t even getting a gift out of it. Well I wasn’t having that,” Trump told press. “You scratch my back, I scratch yours. That’s just the first rule of forgiveness.”

After tense negotiations between the US Government and Gobble the turkey, the bird was encouraged to make a generous “donation” to the Trump administration, in order to be worthy of a pardon.

“It took ages to decide what type of bribe to actually give Trump, given there are so many ways you can do it nowadays,” shared Gobble the broad-breasted white turkey.

“At first I was gonna get him a Boeing 747, but then I thought a donation to the White House renovation would be classier. In the end I went with a crypto investment into one of his dipshit son’s companies.”

Following the bribe, Trump not only gave Gobble an unconditional pardon, but also made him head of the Department of Agriculture, as well as the new US ambassador to Türkiye.

President Trump offered up yet another heartwarming Thanksgiving message for the nation:

Quote

A very Happy Thanksgiving salutation to all of our Great American Citizens and Patriots who have been so nice in allowing our Country to be divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at, along with certain other foolish countries throughout the World, for being "Politically Correct," and just plain STUPID, when it comes to Immigration. The official United States Foreign population stands at 53 million people (Census), most of which are on welfare, from failed nations, or from prisons, mental institutions, gangs, or drug cartels. They and their children are supported through massive payments from Patriotic American Citizens who, because of their beautiful hearts, do not want to openly complain or cause trouble in any way, shape, or form. They put up with what has happened to our Country, but it's eating them alive to do so! A migrant earning $30,000 with a green card will get roughly $50,000 in yearly benefits for their family. The real migrant population is much higher. This refugee burden is the leading cause of social dysfunction in America[...] hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia are completely taking over the once great State of Minnesota. Somalian gangs are roving the streets looking for "prey" as our wonderful people stay locked in their apartments and houses hoping against hope that they will be left alone. The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both, while the worst "Congressman/woman" in our Country, Ilhan Omar, always wrapped in her swaddling hijab, and who probably came into the U.S.A. illegally in that you are not allowed to marry your brother, does nothing but hatefully complain about our Country, its Constitution, and how "badly" she is treated

Truth Details | Truth Social

Yeah they're carving up the nation... like a bloody turkey! Gory gravy splattering all over! And all Ilhan Omar does is hatefully complain about our Country, its Constitution (oh yeah Trump has so much respect for that), and how badly she is treated (Trump would never do that!... well, complain about how badly she is treated, that is...).

Seems like this hasn't been getting nearly enough media coverage---I almost missed it:

Quote

"I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the US system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions," Trump wrote [...] "anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our Country", will be removed from the US.

Trump added that all federal benefits and subsidies to "noncitizens" will end, and he will "denaturalise migrants who undermine domestic tranquillity, and deport any foreign national who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western civilisation".

I do love America! Besides I am white, if I have to I can speak afrikaans at a 2nd grade level.

In theory some of what he is saying isnt wrong, as always though its just emption and sound bites and no real plan. Yes immigrants to the USA should be a net benefit to the country, they are overall! Immigrants are needed for many jobs, Trump himself said the other week that we need foregin talent. We also need low skill labour for farms, crop picking etc.

I think most rational Americans are onboard with deporting criminals, terrorists and people who have incompatible values. Trump needs a win though and he is milking this tragedy to rally the base. It is the only play he has left at the moment to distract from epstein and the affordability crisis. Two things he championed until they turned agaisnt him

Musk started using the r-word on Twitter a few months ago iirc. Wonder how many red state schoolchildren are going to be influenced by their holy President's example. (... and maybe tell their teacher, "Quiet, piggy!").

Some good news has come of it though:

Quote

Indiana state senator Michael Bohacek ® announced he would not be supporting Trump's mid-decade redistricting plan in the Hoosier State after he called Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) "seriously retarded." The Republican lawmaker [...] said that as a parent of a child with Down Syndrome, he couldn't endorse Trump's plan due to his use of the word'

[...] Trump's call to redraw Indiana's maps to be more favorable to Republicans has consistently run aground, even with Republicans controlling 40 of 50 seats in the Indiana senate. Rodric Bray ®, who is president pro tempore of the Indiana Senate, said earlier this month that he didn't have the votes to get the new GOP-friendly maps across the finish line.

The New York Times responds to Trump's Thanksgiving tirade:

Quote

How Fraud Swamped Minnesota's Social Services System on Tim Walz's Watch

Over the last five years, law enforcement officials say, fraud took root in pockets of Minnesota's Somali diaspora as scores of individuals made small fortunes by setting up companies that billed state agencies for millions of dollars' worth of social services that were never provided. [...]

Federal prosecutors say that 59 people have been convicted in those schemes so far, and that more than $1 billion in taxpayers' money has been stolen in three plots they are investigating. That is more than Minnesota spends annually to run its Department of Corrections. [...]

Critics of the Walz administration say that the fraud persisted partly because state officials were fearful of alienating the Somali community in Minnesota. [...]

Dr. Samatar, who is Somali American[...] said that Somali refugees who came to the United States after their country's civil war were raised in a culture in which stealing from the country's dysfunctional and corrupt government was widespread.

Minnesota, he said, proved susceptible to rampant fraud because it is "so tolerant, so open and so geared toward keeping an eye on the weak."

How Fraud Swamped Minnesota's Social Services System on Tim Walz's Watch - The New York Times

... granted, it's worth understanding some of the context, and that there was (possibly still is) a legitimate issue with social services fraud in Minnesota, despite Trump's ridiculous hyperbole and implicitly racist, xenophobic fearmongering...
