I've seen more then a couple of comedians joke about him snorting Adderall. And I sort of think it might be true. Those moments where he is manic and incoherently jumping from topic to topic and pausing at times to sniff sharply kind of indicates he's on something. That, or he is quite evidently bipolar and plays out his manic episodes in front of the camera.

Also, he's a naughty boy. He inserted a swear word in one of his tweets. Shows he has a temperament not fit for president.

That's the first indication of that?
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

I mean...your President is actively gaslighting your entire nation guys...

He's trying to Normalize this, and then gaslight everyone that it's perfectly okay to do.

I'm not really sure if a full public admission of guilt is enough to allow the Democrats to impeach him. I am not really sure what they require, but judging by recent history I suspect we need a televised broadcast of Trump with his finger hovering over the atomic button, saying that he will destroy the USA if he is not being paid one million dollars.

We should be clear. He WILL be impeached. He was already going to be (before openly committing the very act he's being impeached for again on the South Lawn of the WhiteHouse live and adding China into the mix to boot; likely as a normalization tactic). The House impeaches. The Senate then has a trial and decides if he should be REMOVED. I'm certain he will be impeached, but he may not be removed.

But yeah, if this "ask" by him slides by without punishment, the 2020 election will not be remotely democratic...and the Republic will already have failed.

Because honestly, how can you trust an election result from which a sitting president normalized asking foreign powers to interfere in it (it was bad enough when he was simply a candidate "Russia if you're listening"...but he's the president now)?

Like the two options are: they impeach and remove him from office for this/these crimes, save their elections/democracy...or the GOP senate allows him to stay and thus allows that this is all okay and therefore elections mean absolutely nothing going forward.

Sidebar: Fox News has not touched this yet. Everyone else has been talking about it for 3+ hours...but Fox has simply ignored it. They must realize its poison...especially after spending a whole damned week spinning and claiming he didn't do it, and the second hand info can't be trusted...only for him to do it...live on TV... twice.

On that note, let's all try to think positive: Biden won't be the candidate anyway.

And Bernie just had heart surgery after experience 'chest pains' at a campaign thing.

At this rate Warren just has to stay upright and not say anything too incredibly dumb.

In 'leaked audio of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg talking about threats to the company[...] Zuckerberg says that an Elizabeth Warren presidency would be an "existential" threat to Facebook. [...] "You have someone like Elizabeth Warren who thinks that the right answer is to break up the companies [...] at the end of the day, if someone’s going to try to threaten something that existential, you go to the mat and you fight." On its face, the idea that Warren's plan to break up Facebook is an existential threat is laughable. If, for example, Facebook was forced to spin off WhatsApp or Instagram, it would still be the largest and most powerful social network. In a New York Times op-ed, Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes goes further and makes the case that such a breakup would actually spur competition, innovation, improve national security, enrich shareholders of all three, and benefit users of the platforms.'

I'm likely to be Bernie-1 Warren-2 (everyone else a distant 175th) until the primary is done, but yah she is seriously good at this.

'A neo-Nazi terror group under investigation by the FBI has released a propaganda video that one expert is calling "incredibly significant" and "essentially a declaration of war." This comes after the group has already been linked to five murders, and was named in an FBI investigation involving an alleged bomber in Las Vegas who stockpiled explosives and firearms for a planned attack on the city's Jewish and LGBTQ communities.'

'Armed Militias Are Taking Trump's Civil War Tweets Seriously

[... the Oath Keepers responded to Trump's civil war retweet with:] "We ARE on the verge of a HOT civil war. Like in 1859. That's where we are."

Before this tweet, the Oath Keepers account tweeted that, under the U.S. Constitution, "the militia (that's us) can be called forth 'to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions.' ... "All he has to do is call us up. We WILL answer the call." Other Oath Keeper tweets also hint at violence: One states that "their favorite rifle is the AR 15."

According to the Oath Keepers's webpage, the organization is "a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders, who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to 'defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic,'" while declaring that they "will not obey unconstitutional orders." The Anti-Defamation League, by contrast, describes the group as "an anti-government right-wing fringe organization" whose members have appeared "as self-appointed armed guards" at various places around the country, in defiance of what they deem to be unconstitutional government action. Last month, the group sought "security volunteers" from their membership and "other capable patriots" to escort Trump supporters attending a New Mexico rally "to protect them from potential leftist violence." And last year, the Oath Keepers announced its "Spartan Training Group program," with the goal of "form[ing] training groups in as many states as possible" to create "a pool of trained, organized volunteers who will be able to serve as the local militia under the command of a patriotic governor loyal to the Constitution, or if called upon by President Trump to serve the nation" (emphasis in original).

The Oath Keepers are far from the only militia group that vocally supports deploying potential force in aid of the president. [...] these armed militias took action at least in part in response to Trump's rhetoric about the need to secure the southern border. Now that the president has invoked the idea of civil war, there is a risk that armed groups will take heed of this language too, whenever the president suggests that it is time.'

Every single Republican who doesn't decry this (Trumps crimes on camera) and vote for impeachment needs to be asked, on record, on video for the nation to see "If Obama had done this, what would your reaction have been?"....and then they need to answer that shit on the record...and it will either be a baldfaced lie....or they will be condoning something for Trump that they would have railed at Obama for.

This shit needs to happen. Every legit news outlet should be doing this. Right now.

That's already going on now on CNN and MSNBC. Every time the question gets asked they'll just say that they haven't read the report but there's nothing there anyway and what about Hunter's buttery males?

heh... touché. That's just beautiful, use the force of their stupidity/misogyny against them.

At this point i suspect Zuckerberg's comments, if anything, are throwing more support her way. The risk seems to be if dem corporate America throws its support elsewhere with serious weight. Warren would lose credibility of she diluted her anti-corporate education and healthcare for all stance, but if she can't bring the corps at least somewhat onside it may cost her.

As for Bernie... i get the appeal, i do, i respect why so many of his 2016 supporters are still there... but the dude is old, he's having heart palps at this early stage. The ship has sailed. Time to cash the reality check. Metaphor analogy imnsho give it up he's done.

It depends on how far Facebook is willing to go against Warren and in support of Trump. I doubt they'd openly actively become a propaganda wing for Trump's campaign, or too openly attempt to discredit or promote attacks on Warren... especially if Zuckerberg and co think they'd win in court against her policies. They'll almost certainly want to continue to at least give the appearance of fact-checking for third-party news articles and so on, without abusing that to apply an impossible or dishonest evidentiary standard to pro-Warren articles, or lowering their standards for anti-Warren articles. But loopholes, like (just recently) making political ads exempt from fact-checking, and promotion of pro-Trump or anti-Warren ads (in exchange for millions of dollars (at least) from Trump and Russia), will be egregiously abused....
