Assassination culture has now officially been embraced by the left. They have to realize now after multiple times against Trump and the murder of Charlie Kirk. They have often times said they support killing Musk! Murdering over thought. Ill never understand the hate over time that has been embraced this last decade.

I've been saying for years now the embrace from the left calling people they disagree with naming them Nazis is outright one of the worst shifts they have embraced. That's actual hate. Remember that. Hate in your heart if you think that.

Now we got people getting murdered for it.

This isn't some conspiracy theory. This is what actual radicilzation looks like..

Many on the right are VERY afraid of what occurs next.

The hardest part about this if Trump wasn't president this guy would be alive. Now that he is dead..I'm calling it now 4 more years of Republicans no matter what Trump does. I'm out for a bit after this and very disappointed this person didn't think that through. The next guy up may be way way worse too. /Sigh

Wow, if they're this mad about the death of one grown man, I can't imagine what they'd be saying and doing if the same thing happened to an actual kid. Or let's say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 kids in like maybe a school in a peaceful little town like Uvalde, TX. Or like 20 first graders in Newtown, CT. Imagine what they'd have to say to the survivors of such a shooting, like maybe Parkland, FL How they'd treat the kids who lived through it and were inspired to make change. --Just imagine the outpouring of emotion, earnest sympathy, and good will they would show the dead, the survivors, and the affected families in any such event like that. Imagine what Charlie Kirk himself would have said.

Unfortunately, time just began today so we don't have records of any of that, but just imagine.

Yeah, I can never understand even polite discourse when it comes to the fetishisation of 2A in the US. Earlier I said I liked his politeness and he was interesting, but I guess his death is quite ironic given his 2A comments. No death is acceptable when it comes to protecting your "right" to have high-powered weapons specifically designed to kill lots of people in a short space of time. I know this wasn't a mass casualty incident, but it very well could have been. Like Vegas a few years ago. The only difference is intent, and if it's all the same to you, I'd rather not rely on that.

I could pull up at least 10 quotes pretty easily, things he said that are straight terrible and evil.....but the most relevant would be:

Murder is awful. Kirk was awful. We are probably at a point of Balkanization level spark plug violence that's been primarily driven by far right wing people who want the targets of violence only to be left wing people and/or brown/black people.

I am not surprised some right wing people are reacting to the sudden loss of impunity for saying and doing the awful things they do. I am also not surprised some right wing people are immediately trying to use this as a cover for violent oppression and occupation. Everything is content grist for their mill of exerting what is an unpopular government that's sliding further into a faux dictatorship with a figurehead who's happy to pocket money while others do unconstitutional and dangerous violence in his name.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Yes, unfortunately even the fastest draw and the most precise marksperson won't realistically be able to parry a bullet with bullets. But what will help people? Body armor. Full body armor is best. Bullet-proof space suits for all---space suits so they're also good against pollution and airborne diseases.

But perhaps then people will move on to explosives and rocket launchers... in which case we'll all need very large heavily armored mechs to stroll around. Or more realistically: virtual reality. From our heavily armored bunkers.

Is it worth noting that near simultaneous to when Kirk got shot in the middle of his racist, transphobic remarks defending mass shootings, there were also students being shot at a high school in Colorado?

Is it worth noting that it was just a couple days ago that our child molester president Donald J. Trump's drawing (of an adolescent girl) and poem reminiscing on that child molestation with his long-time friend and co-child molester Jeffrey Epstein was made public by Epstein's estate? After months of him denying it existed. And that it was dismissed by every single person in the pro-child molestation Republican Party who is up in arms today about the mean words people say about them?

My social media is ablaze with fellation of Charlie Kirk and it just provides a great reminder - Social Media is made up of people. People of whom half are more ignorant and less informed than average.

And the average person is terribly uninformed about things that are not in front of their face, in their backyard, or being screamed about by their media of choice.... which is often social media.

Let's not forget that above and beyond the uneducated on social media that twitter is also like half bots...which are literally designed to foster and fan the flames of such division in such instances for the further de-stabilization of the USA.

Yes, unfortunately even the fastest draw and the most precise marksperson won't realistically be able to parry a bullet with bullets. But what will help people? Body armor. Full body armor is best. Bullet-proof space suits for all---space suits so they're also good against pollution and airborne diseases.

But perhaps then people will move on to explosives and rocket launchers... in which case we'll all need very large heavily armored mechs to stroll around. Or more realistically: virtual reality. From our heavily armored bunkers.


Oddly enough, this satire does go to the logical conclusion of the "stockpile infinite firearms" crowd - to hole up in bunkers and have food delivered in by people who take the risks of being in a society that involves that many firearms and people being horrible to each other.

The answers clearly lie in getting rid of most of the guns. So many better things flow downstream from that and we've seen it work in Australia etc. Until we develop that mass political will, the deaths will continue in a grisly march towards ruin.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
