Just a quick heads up to those ordering TCG from amazon.ca.

They just, today (which was the original posted release date) shifted the release date back to MARCH 15 2011.

Amazon.uk holding steady at Feb 21.

Yeah I noticed this earlier, and I should have listened to you and Quick Tidal when you said that amazon.ca sucks. I raged pretty hard.

Abyss, have you seen the awesome pictures thread? I posted a picture of the copy that arrived for me today, (from Amazon UK). although I have not got my filthy little mits on it yet as it got delivered to my fiancée's place of work.

WTF Amazon Canada? That's like over three weeks away! What excuse have they put for the people who have ordered for this date?

No evil laugh coming from me, i'd be a bit pee'd off if they said I couldn't have mine for another 3 weeks, when is yours due to arrive?
Apt is the only one who reads this. Apt is nice.

Amazon.com still has mine for March 1. Odd that Canada is slipping past the US.

After much vacillation, i stuck w Amazon.uk (which also let me get JA's THE HEROES in hb for less than $10!). Am now feeling much smug joy and anticipation.

.ca doesn't give excuses, they just shuffle the date and tell you after the fact. Many people I know are now madly placing .uk orders while cursing .ca down to its employees' ancestors.

@Tattersail - I should have mine by Monday next. Also, hate you.

Don't be shocked if .com shfts the date too.
There's a first time for everything, but historically they have never been ahead of .ca.

Pretty crap of .ca to dateshift ON the street date they originally posted.

It's not just Amazon.ca, "my" Amazon (.de) has the date for the paperback version I originally ordered (until I found it over a week ago at my local bookstore, wtf) changed from February ~22nd to March 15th. Really don't get why my local bookstore (a big chain, here, but still not as big as Amazon) had the book earlier than Amazon.

I too called amazon.ca to find out why the most important book I have ever ordered, has not shipped. They said it was 'backordered'!!! Losers, they forgot to order it themselves I bet.

And I shoveled two feet of snow just in case it came today, all the way up to the house for nothing!

Thank goodness for the wonderfully reliable amazon.co. uk, who has already confirmed my order!!

Switched to uk a couple of hours ago and just got the "dispatched" email. Whew. I was worried they would wait until tomorrow to ship. Hopefully I'll have it by Wednesday with priority shipping.

Got the same treatment from The Book Depository, they pushed back the release date to Mars 1 but when I contacted them they said their suppliers failed and they actually don't know when they will have it in stock.

Does anyone know if there will be any sort of electronic version this week, or will amazon.com be the first to release it next week?

EoDO, I got the dispatch e-mail from .uk literally as I was reading your post about getting it. Delivery estimate is Wednesday, but hell, at this point, I'll take Thursday. That's THIS WEEK I can't believe it's actually coming.

I pre-ordered on .co.uk but I am really miffed because they've just estimated my delivery date as the 23rd despite it being next day delivery, I don't live that far north, i'm pretty sure the sorting office is in fife it's only a few hours away!

Had preordered mine 10 days back... I live in Athens, Greece... got the "Dispatched" e-mail from Amazon UK... had paid priority express (30 euros for a 14 euro book) and the estimated delivery date is... March 7th?!?!? WTF? I usually get a book in two days TOPS whenever I order one with that paying method. Amazon UK does some spectacularly wrong estimates sometimes, granted, but still... arrrrghhh...!

They're pushing you back to Mar. 15 in two-day increments.
