I've downloaded it but haven't checked out the new maps etc yet. I've just restarted another ME2 playthrough with my new ME1 character.

It's only on xbox so far, PC should be very soon and only EU PS3 players have to wait until tomorrow.


As it stands, people are being positive about the two new maps - apparently they're bigger than the existing ones. Very little info on the new weapons or characters, because while they CAN appear in Sceptre packs, the new pack that gives a greater chance for them isn't out yet.

Geth seem to an ability called 'Hunter Mode' and Batarians have something called 'Spike Armour.'

I'm curious about the new classes, with emphasis on batarians. I hoped for more of them in the games, would've been awesome to have a batarian crew member. And a volus and an elcor.
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. I really want to unlock the batarian soldier. Been playing a vanguard recently and that's pretty fun. +200% power recharge time, blasting about smacking the shit out of the bad guys!

Infiltrator's cool but I play my soldier in the same style so...

This weekend's N7 operation - Operation RESURGENCE

Anyone who has the Resurgence Pack multiplayer DLC operational during this weekend will be granted a Reserves Pack. A Reserves Pack unlocks one of the new random alien classes guaranteed.


EDIT: Only available on Xbox 360 and PC - Sony still haven't approved the promotion.

I'm not sure they do - haven't played them yet. But given that there is an achievement for playing all N7 maps in MP OR completeing all N7 missions (with the same maps) in-game I'm going to suggest that they don't appear in game. But I'll knwo once I play them.....which I think I'll go do now XD


EDIT: Firebase Condor is on one of Palaven's moons and Firebase Hydra is an old quarian facility. Neither looks familiar so I don't think they are in-game maps.

Condor is just a remake of the mission where you rescue the Turian Primarch. Same geography/stars and everything. Hydra is not in the game from what I remember.
