Don't think so.
On the notion of nobody scoring for several hours... the 8 1/8 final games sported a total of 22 goals. It's awesome.
On a more important note, Argentina - Germany... I'm gonna go for 3-2 regular game time.

However, if you want to take it realistically, have at it.
The correct response is the score doesn't matter, nor bullshit statistics provided by people who could give a lesser shit and have an agenda in supplying it.

Commentary people here like to blurt out nonsense about how this and that team never advanced past this or that phase if they scored this many goals in the first match, and the like. It's retarted.
I came to realize I love watching matches with, like, russian commentaries, 'cause they sound amusing and I don't understand what they're saying. It's cute.

My pet hate is how commentary here involves not just pointless statistics, but all of a sudden different pronounciation of player names. Deco is transformed to Decu, Kaka went from Káká to Kàkà, and the names of the Southern African team are suddenly spoken as if to the rythem of the Lambada.
Moreso, a pet hatred of Gerrard featured heavily in dutch commentary as every badly taken corner was automatically tied to him, while Lampard was definately the one taking it in at least 40% of the cases
I dislike it all so much that I watch either the BBC or the belgian broadcast.

We do, we honestly do. But... somehow we stumbled through that, mostly thanks to Brazil not continuiing as they played in the first half.
Also, Van Bommel en De Jong are the heart of the team, camouflaging a weak defense, and Kuijt deserves a statue for all the running he does.

Honestly I think that the key player of Holland is, even more than Robben, Snejder. He's just great.
Also was it me, or excluding the red card to that idiot of Felipe Melo( why did Juve buy him,why?) the referee never really punished the Brasilians' fouls?

Sneijder is sealing key moments, but he is nowhere near his top form, imho.

Absolutely stunning I must say. I'm most pleasantly surprised by Ghana's play right now, and terribly disappointed with Uruguay.

wrt to Fucile: they showed 3 different angles on a replay, and all I could think was "immobilize his neck, dammit". that looked very much like a spinal injury.

Went to bed early with a stinking headache unfortunately so I missed Brasil-Netherlands, but am watching Uruguay-Ghana now. Uruguay are attacking like crazy but just keep breaking down in the final pass from midfielder to forward.
Into added/injury time now. Unless something happens it will be extra time. At least it's all-out attack.

Ghana's gpot some nice passing, but they're constantly messing them up, unlike the first half.
Edit: however, Uruguay's leeting a lot of those long through balls go... while they tryt o play short-pass.
in the long run, I think Ghana's tactic's gonna be more effective.
