M45 was slightly too late to get a change of provisional in, as I'd just posted the scene:

Guard Big Ben

Failing that,

Guard Tennes

Sorry mate, you were slightly too late. I just resolved, I'm afraid. Your guard was on Kessobahn.

Sir Thursday
.

Okay, that was RIDICULOUSLY fast, guess our benses like provisinals. The two dead last day better not have been roled inno. I'm going to assume, based on the marked discrepancy between He/She was innocent, and he was NOT Big Ben, that Korlat had some sort of role.

I forgot to homogenize the CFs (now corrected)...some people will take anything to be a signal *sigh*...

Here's PB's side of the story:

D'riss said:

Venge -- waaaat? =(
Kurt M -- don't be a hater, you've been so negative the last few games. You got lynched for what looked like a slip. I should have been lynched Day 2 of my game, no way I was going to give up that ghost.
Gem -- So you weren't scum after all? Low-balling it probably got you lynched.
Malaese -- Sucks to be NK'd on night 1, gonna guess it was some kinda WIFOM play against whoever called you out.

Hmm, well M45 did kind of make it obvious that he had a role - his knowledge of who was in PS etc. looked pretty convincing to me.

Just hope PB calms down a bit today, or he'll start pointing fingers at Roled Innos, and then they'll really be screwed...

Some Reaction via PMs:
(Though I have to disagree with her. Her way was just as bad if not worse, IMO. Dignified = Asking the mods for a modkill privately, not trumpeting it on thread or pretending to be scum in order to get yourself lynched).

Sir Thursday

If I didn't put it on the thread then it wouldn't have happened. I could have gotten Telas lynched if I had kept my cool but the temper has become a horrible horrible thing. At least now Obdi has a chance to vig someone who might be scum rather then an inno spammer.
I do agree Gem's way is way worse for the team. I only took myself out I didn't try to fuck up the entire team. Grief was probably just pissed that I was able to spam like that and he wasn't. :snigger:

Hey, my way may be worse for the team, but it's better for the Game - I always think about the Game. :D

How long til PB figures out his throwing out of every damned name in the book as scum is simply making it easier for the killers to hdie in plain sight?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Korv, you are playing REALLY naively. Your posts and timing made it look pretty damn convincing that you vigged.

That said, you aren't scum if you vigged but wow that was a stupid night 1 vig.

Remove Vote.

PB warning someone about playing naively...and then saying he reckons they're a vig and thus putting them in them in the scum's sights. This is awesome symp play, truly brilliant.

Oh, wait. PB isn't a symp.

Sigh.

Right, that's enough PSing for me this evening.

Seems like Gamelon and Ruse have got the game right where they want it at the moment. I guess it all depends if people can see past the huge dustcloud D'riss is kicking up. Does sound like Emurlahn is going to come out and try to force him to behave today though.

Who vigs on day 1 with a 2 in 13 chance of hitting scum? With only 1 being CF'd scum. Hah just glad I caught the Gamelon fuck up even if it didn't go anywhere. I had fun. Long live Donkuman.

Wow I just caught up with the thread. Amazing, its like the retard train pulled into the station and half the innocents jumped aboard. I know where JA was coming from with his play not improving comment.

What is it about being Innocent that makes people suddenly play like cocks? A day 1 Vig. Vengy whose normally a great play just Spams the thread, then Modkills himself. Terrible.

And PeanutButta has taken a huge slide, made a good killer. This game though he's taken a turn for the worse. He's not thinking things through and he's being obnoxious about it. I just don't get it.

Gem managed a whole 36 hour day as RI without symping and exploding on thread though :)

Seriously am I crazy? Is it that hard to put a little effort in as inno and not be a complete Tool?

Oh, ended night too? Thanks a lot!

I'm curious to read SH after this, man, what a bizarre inno play.

I'm not sure if Bizarre is the word I'd use...

So who do you think they will lynch today? I think Gamelon and Ruse should be able to avoid the lynch if they don't do anything silly.

Question, can Uncle Ben withhold his action every night? Its just depending on who gets lynched, it might not be a bad idea to pretend to be dead at some point soon.

Not really modding, so I'll leave the in-thread stuff to you guys ...

Also, for the sake of those of us who enjoy following behind the scenes, how about leaving all the messages in the Inbox undeleted? That's sort of been standard procedure in the past, so that those of us who get here after dying can poke through old messages and get a feel for why people did what they did.

EDIT: I'm of course referring to the P-S Inbox.

We post everything that in the inbox on the SH thread, so it's redundant.

I was being polite with my "bizarre". :wallbash: Anyways, this game is usually stacked against the Benses, so a bit of lousy inno play just ensures a tight finish. I hope they relax and pick up their game, though.

I'm not sure about the lynch. That Korlat thing appeared out of nowhere, and I can't imagine why they wanted to lynch after the modkill. And the vig, well, I said my piece last game about that. And look who did it - join approval by a pair of veterans :D

Uncle Ben can of course withhold, but I've never seen that happen. It's just too tempting I guess :)
