Ruse, you hopped around a bit with regards to shadow; one post you were saying he doesn't look too bad, the next you were commenting on how scummy Emurlah's vote was, and then dogging Shadow like a bloodhound on a trail; why the dramatic change?
Looking for any reason to vote for an inno???
Looking for any reason to vote for an inno???
Well, his posts got smarter and cleaner (less wishywashy) after I called him on it. That prompted my first comment that he seemed less suspicious, looked less scummy.
Later though, after thinking about it some more, the fact that he cleaned up his posting with no explanation or acknowledgement (even joking) made me think that he was just quietly trying to throw notice off of himself. Basically he went from wishywashy to smooth without batting an eyelash. It's not much, but I felt I should keep my money where my mouth was for the time being.

Didn't put that down to the usual "getting srss" of Mafia, once Day One stops being a joke, no?
Hmmm... So what do you suggest today? We haven't seen Shadow yet. Who is setting off alarm bells for you?

Of people who are actually actively posting today? Nothing is really setting off alarm bells. And I already said that the lynch train isn't causing anything to stand out either. I was trying to stir things up yesterday (like Korv, but to a lesser extent). But today I'm not so sure of which way to look.
What do you think of Shadow? Part of my thoughts on him is the fact that several different people have looked at him, but generally for different reasons. That's a good reason why I'm suspicious - he seems to be tripping scumdars left and right.
here silanah also whants to know why ruse has changes his tune and is now voting for shadow.
Could be because he thinks shadow is roled.
This is all after shadow talks about wanting to know dead poeples names and then getting told that normal innos more than likley dont have names.
hmmm shadow and sil are killed night two no?.....yes yes WIFOM...but we cant just ignore everything a wifom all the time

It seems we have several different people with different takes on Shadow. However, all of those takes are "he's kinda scummy", just with different reasoning behind that feeling. Tellan, Emurlahn, Korv, Meanas and myself have all commented on some aspect of Shadow's posting. As I noted earlier, it seemed like he cleaned up his play after I called him on his hedging. So rather than defending himself or saying "that's just how I word things", he quietly changed what I was seeing in his posts.
Since enough people have smelled a strange funk, all for different reasons, I don't think it's too strange for me to lay a vote down.

This is just after the gamelon and shadow discussion about role pm's.
Any inno at least RI would know that shadow was more than likely roled after what he said about wanting to know what driss' name was...
Yet Ruse votes him?...interesting...
especially since we now know shadow is inno
@ HP, I had been on Shadow for some time before that vote. And to be frank, I never picked up on Shadow being a roled inno from that exchange. In fact, I don't even remember it being suggested before this, but that's because the "clusterfuck" confused the hell out of me.

I very much doubt you have alted me Silanah, especially if you think I am in a strange timezone.
Having done a re-read, I don't have anyone pinned down as being downright scummy. I was a little suspicious of Silanah just because you seem to be a little overbearing, trying to be a little pushy, which always makes me paranoid. However, I am gonna stick by my initial suspicion of Gamelon, mainly based on his jumping on the "town" mention, and claiming that CI'd him.

hhmmm
see, to me, what gamelon has said about his pm, however close to mod kill it stuff it is, has somewhat cleared him in my mind.
Yet liosan doesnt see this, wich means you could be scum.
Gamelon mentions something about his code in passing after the initial argument that pretty much makes me believe him (i wont point it out as it would make me talk about my pm which i wont do)...now people who didnt see this either didnt read his posts properly or is potential scum in my books.
and yes i know this is dicussed later on...im getting there so hold your horses...i said this wasnt going to be pretty didnt I?

However, in response to my own above post, why would he (Kesso) not speak up and say, "Hey guys, I think D'riss is inno, only an inno would come up with a code like this and not fake reveal an important role." That's the big question I have on him.
So what you're saying is either he's a killer or he's a symp (and you're implying there are two symps and D'riss was one).
I think you're forgetting that by the time D'riss actually got lynched, nobody really cared about him any more. He'd been fucking around and messing with our heads. Probably an inno move with hindsight, but I for one wasn't even contemplating that aspect at the time.
No, I'm not saying that at all.
I'm saying that (in the previous post) that I believe that Kesso is innocent because that is the most likely scenario given that he was almost certainly bound to gain suspicion by jumping OFF the train and then NOT getting back ON it.
The quoted post here is that, while Kesso seems to have been innocent, why not either try to save D'riss OR just back on the train quietly. Doing either would make him seem more likely to be inno.
Instead, by not doing either, he appears more likely to be hiding something than he appears to be scum.
After thinking it over, my guess is he's a town power role and wants someone to find him tonight to prove innocence.
Im sure someone is going to say spomething about this later on in my catch up but
WTF!!!???!

To be honest, at this point I am most interested in the people who are appearing smart and collected. THere are some wicked smart players in mafia, with a good chunk of experience, who are still in this game. I HAVE to believe that the scum can play things tight and smooth, and all this looking around for random things to put together is useful to get reactions, but can't be taken as proof of very much. For this reason, I'm beginning to dislike players like Omtose, Gamelon, Galain and Kessobahn. They've put together cases too, but at this point, who hasn't?
We're throwing scrutiny on players like Korv, Tellan for seemingly spectacular reversals which is to some extent is believable but at the same time are conceivable as inno's failing on what they though was a sure thing.
For now, Gamelon's "I'm gonna vote, you all know why and I"m not going to say anything more" is just too damn convenient.

Looks like a small paranoid-anxiety attack, but that's no reason to just throw out the rest of the thread by the window.
You even have HP making you a nice recap, and you can see why I don't agree with this vote a few posts up.

Sorry about this, but posting as I read.
@ Korv - being single minded by all means (like I said, I'm still a bit dubious about him...and you...oh alright everyone else as well)...but please enough of the martyr already. There is only room for one in mafia (hell in the forum) and that's me...and I have a contract that says so somewhere...or at least I will have in a few minutes.
Edit: Okay, ignore that - Omtose already told him...tell you what I'll make notes and just do one post at the end...less likely to look such a nit that way.

Its not that Im tring to be all Brood like. Its just that it is damn near impossible for me to see through this damn haze that is Tellan. If I can't (or wont) look elsewhere, Im not helping the town. Also, theres alot of crap floating around in the waters. Im trying to not stir it up and let the scum stick to the sides of the pot, while we get flushed away.(I spent a few minutes coming up with that analogy.)
I am trying to not be all emo, but Im also trying to stay out of the way. But everything I see revolves around Tellan being scum. (Maybe not a killer, maybe a symp, he's pretty certain his CF will be inno.) But thats just it. If hes symping who has he been symping. Ruse certainly. Gamelon to a slighter degree, although I think thats just circumstancial, as he used what Game said to attempt to trap Liosan. But based on my next post I would say scum (if Tellans a symp) are Ampelas and Rashan. With a possible Serc Emur Fener and Ano as well. Id say the top 2 are scum and one of the bottom 4 are. Like I said. I'll post the quote where I got this info. Then you can all tell me how Tellan is too good to lynch and that hes inno, and then Ill say, ok and wait.
