Yeah, finding promotable symps screws you up. But there's nothing you can do about it. The promotable symps make up for the strong good roles, if anything the innocents are overpowered.

Right now team inno has no chance unless they random guess they are on the wrong track completely... funny that the only person spouting this logic is Shadow and he's about to get lynched.

Assuming things stay as they are currently going, Shadow and Omtose go next and that puts Team Evil in a solid position because Ruse is not getting a single bit of traction from the bad guys (or the good for that matter, although that may change since Shadow has recently 'cleared' Ruse and Telas after a read-through and if Shadow comes up innocent, they may review his cases).

Anyway, after this day/night, the bad guys will be at a 3-to-7 ratio and right now Ruse/Tennes/Gamelon are at zero visibility.

What happens if Gamelon is lynched? Does it then go down to 1 killer 1 symp or does Ruse take over the job?

Yes, the reason I asked is that if somehow Gamelon gets killed, the guards are suddenly super strong. Well, guard, since it will be down to Ano... and he's very likely to die tomorrow.

Also, does symp promotion happen immediately upon the master's death? Reason I ask is let's say Gamelon is targetted for guard and Tennes gets lynched today. Ruse isn't going to have a provisional in (ok he may target Shadow again) and what happens at night? Does Ruse automatically become the second in the pair and the provisional already in place from the previous pair will go through (meaning the guard doesn't do anything)?

The gaurd would not take. The killer gets lynched and that night the symp becomes the killer. The provisional by the gaurded killer would be in effect. So no kill would happen.

Amp tried to lay down that I could be a possible symp as I voted for Emu while I was role playing. That is a bit of a stretch for anyone imagination. However he could be trying to set me up for a lynching later on in the game. I am pretty sure that if I am on I will be able to get around it. That is the trick though isn't it to attack people when they aren't on and get them lynched. Might be something to take back at Serc and co over the Shadow lynch.

Dont really know bout any of the others, Khell disappeared as I started playing so I got no idea who he plays with and most of the others are reasonably recent imports from other boards. Must say Shin is playing way better this time, noone has come across as noob this game.

Also, any new thoughts on the manager. Sorry to keep asking, but other than Ment you're the only person who's used it for a reasonable amount of time. It's damn slow when I use it, but I cant be sure if that's not just my crappy Saffer internet.

This isn't Bent but the manager has so far been snappy and responsive (NOT slow) and easy to use. Yes it's not glamorous or anything, but it doesn't need to be.

I'm actually a computer programmer who has a morbid fascination with "sweet-looking" software but let's face it, users want software that WORKS first. The glitz and glam can come second and should be nothing more than a slick veneer on the underlying functionality.
