I killed a few brain cells yesterday afternoon watching some dumb horror slasher movie.

"I Know What You Did Last Summer."
Terrible movie but Jennifer Love-Hewitt and BAD's Buffy were in it and they were good enough eye candy to keep me amused. Posted Image

just saw city of god too. great movie. southern america is really shaping up.

and I think alien vs. predator will be fun. it could be really good too, but I doubt it. I'm just gonna enjoy the special effects and the cheesy story like a good fan.

but it would be fun to see a superman vs. batman movie. superman would sooooo get his ass kicked!
Legalise drugs! And murder!

I've read 'em, aye. I found "Troy" to be a decent flick. Nothing special and certainly not the epic masterpiece is was touted to be.

bets anime movie I ever saw? Well I guess it wasn't a movie. . . but the Evangelion series ruled, I loved it, plus 3x3 eyes wasn't too bad either.

Just have to say I love Gladiator, it is one of the best movies I have seen for a long, long time!!!

Aye, it's pretty amusing. You really can't place current moral and societal standards upon the actions of people in history. The story is what is what is.

I'm curious to see which route they took for Alexander's death. I've read of several reasons, including alcohol poisoning, fever, or a wound gone bad.

I watched "The Fellowship of the Ring" extended edition again last night. Man, what a film. Truly one of my favourite movies of all time. Posted Image

Last I saw of Kilmer was in The Missing.

And I thought it was the Greeks themselves who are complaining about Stone's portrayal of Alexander as a bisexual.

Unfortunately the movie is getting truly horrible reviews thus far Posted Image.

@ Rodeo: It's a great film. Went and watched it last night and all the girls were there with their boyfriends, so you wont feel left out.

Nom there were like two lame-ass moments in Blade 2 (SFX wise, in the ninja-esque fighting bit) the rest was cool. And yeah Perlman does rule Posted Image.

say irobot, liked it overall, very cheesy in places and product placement was alittle over the top.

bourne supremacy was great but couldnt belive how much it moved away from the book!!

watched equilibrium on tv last night, absolute horse ****. the fight scenes where the worst i have ever scene, the shooting was absurd and it generally bored me with its drivel storyline, plus robertdebruce as a fat baddy doesnt work.

anyone seen Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, lately? I can't figure out if Garry oldman knows he's dead or not? It seemed ambiguous in the play to me as well? Anyone got an opinion?

Bought and watched Sho Kosugi's Nine Deaths of the Ninja (the title has nothing to do with the film, except the word 'ninja'). Incredibly cheesy movie, SPOILERS ahead!:

- the bad guys are all great: a gay nazi-terrorist who uses women's gloves and talks with a 'german' accent; a 7-ft tall Arabian who only laughs every time he is shown; a lesbian terrorist (the actress's acting is sooo overblown, and I like it).

- some hilarious scenes:
- during an underwater battle, the Ninja gets rid of his feminine enemy by stripping her bikinis off!
- at the end of the movie, ninjas appear out of nowhere, with no explanation about their motives, and begin to do battle with Kosugi.

I highly recommend this movie. A piece of art.

yah it does show it but i wonder why he didnt stick to medicine instead to help the people. you know instead of getting into guerilla warfare that he obviously was not suited to. i think it sucks to have lost someone to ideals where they could have helped with medicine.

Abeleyn, in case it didn't ring a bell, my last post here is the name of that French swashbuckler you couldn't remember.

There's another one I want to see called Fanfan la Tulipe starring Penelope Cruz. I'll have to join Nicheflix to get it though. (Nicheflix is a mail order movie rental service here in the States that has a deep foreign and independent catalog.)
