There's suddenly a lot of Funk in this thread.

I feel like there might be an outbreak of disco fever.

That would be very bad. (Says the guy listening to Barry White)

I think that when spongebob squarepants can have an episode where his language is made "colorful" then by all means swear like a sailor. The purpose of a discussion board is to discuss things without worrying about who gets offended because by definition discussion is bound to offend someone right off the bat. Might as well spread the love to anyone else reading. If the mods have a problem with it they'll take care of it. That's what they get paid for, isn't it. Lol. I don't remember if the terms of the board require us to keep it to a minimum or not. Anyone else remember?

For some reason, I completely missed the entire first page of posts before I posted this afternoon. Hmmmm.

I think I'm broken.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Pfffffft, i'm 17 now! all grown up. :D

And hey, it's a nice thing to have threads discussing malazanite conduct and such, rather than mods just layin' the smack down on Illypookins and others.

yeah... there was some business about thread derailment, genitalia stimulation, and Dragenball Z characters being gay.
so she got suspended for a week, and then she made other accounts to complain about. which resulted in a perma-ban. There's a thread about it a few weeks old...

It's down to 2 now.

Anyways, on the "swearing" front, why don't I see "bloody" around here more often? Is it's usage vastly overestimated in the U.S.?

Pretty much never have I heard a Canadian use "bloody" in such a way.
