The Pizza place is closed due to a "flying dough" accident that left four dead and and scores injured......it's to bad you didn't notice you were out of toilet paper before eating all that thai food.

I wish the dishwasher would stop talking to me.......

Granted, but in the expected silence you hear your garbage disposal start up a conversation.

I wish I could have a pet archaeopteryx.

Granted. However, during the reconstitution of your pet, i.e. a process similar to cloning, something went wrong. The situation developing is somewhere between Jurassic Gremlins and Predators. Not good. It is now left up to your cunning and skill to deal with your pet before your street is under quarantine and some bureau will take care of IT.

I wish I HAD a dishwasher.

I wish someone would make me a chocolate cake.

Granted. Then i ate it. But i thought of you the whole time. By "whole time" i mean briefly, somewhere between the sixth and seventh slice when i paused to go get a second coffee. It was awesome cake. So glad you wished for it. Mmmm. best. cake. EVER. There will NEVER be a chocolate cake that good again in the future history of cake.

I wish i owned a 1967 Corvette Stingray that was imprevious to any corruption resulting from this game.

Granted. As you enjoy an exhilarating first-drive in your brand new and so-called 'imprevious' 1967 Corvette Stingray, you skid on a patch of oil and drive off a cliff to your untimely, fiery and somewhat metallic death. The rest of your litter weep as you're lowered into the cat-sized grave, ironically marked 'Here lies Abyss—if only he'd learnt to spell properly'.

I wish there were more hours in the (parts of the) day (that I don't have to work in).

EDIT: Didn't read previous posts, just responded to the last one—sorry tiam.

Granted, though infinite time gets boring really fast, especially when you are frozen in time with only your thoughts to keep you company.

I wish people role played around these parts more.

Granted, but they lynched you day 1 anyway.

I wish I had a license to kill.

Granted, though it's not much fun stalking yourself as the conditions in your license dictate.

I wish I could post one wish here without it getting corrupted despite the thread's name.

Granted. You no longer enjoy playing the corrupt a wish game, and you have successfully terminated this thread. You get banned from any future corrupt a wish threads forever.
PS. Post your wish which you would not like to see corrupted as update on Facebook or any such PC social media website.

I wish my boss concurred on this particular matter with me because for once I am right.

Granted, however he is shortly fired and thus his agreement is worth about as much as a wax apple.

I wish I didn't have to get up so early today to check out of the hotel.

Granted. Ain't carbon monoxide poisoning fun?

I wish this coffee was hotter. But not dangerously hot. Just hot enough to make me happy.

Granted. Your coffee is now perfectly temperature-d for your drinking enjoyments. Sadly, the article you are reading is about how most coffee is made of Juan Valdez' piss. Congratulations, you are drinking perfectly hot piss.

I wish that running the blog wasn't so draining on me.

Granted. Now running causes you to bleed.

I wish I had more money to spend on frivolous things like a new guitar.

Granted. You have big green globs of money to spend on all manner of frivolous things including a new guitar. But as we all know, money cannot buy happiness and you end up spending most of it on therapy, cocaine, and loveless flings with syphallitic crack whores in third world countries of undeterminable gender.

I wish terrorists would seize control of my office building right now so i could crawl into the ventilation system and go all Bruce Willis in Die Hard, only with shoes and more ammo.

Granted. In the aftermath of the crisis, police are baffled by the pair of shoes and a dead cat stuck in the ventilation system. Unfortunately, due to your lack of opposable thumbs, you couldn't even pick your gun up at all.

I wish that I could think of something to wish for.

Granted. You come up with the mostest awesomest wish ever. But since you just blew a wish to get it, it's worthless and now you live with the frustration and despair until you die, frustrated and despodent. And smelly.

I wish pants-free meetings were acceptable and encouraged at my workplace.

Granted. Sadly, the other dudes at your place of work are all pants-less as well, thus making your eyes bleed and not even the females without pants in the meeting can stop the flow of eye-blood. This means that when your copy of OST arrives you won't be able to read it through the blood encrusted sockets. Congrats.

I wish it was already Friday.

Granted it is Friday. Unfortunately it is Friday January 27th, 1689, and you are burned at the stake for being a witch/warlock.

I wish the maintenance guys fixing pipes outside of my office would be a little less messy.
