The quicksilver in a thermomiter? I am bad at spelling.
I scream you scream we all scream for MELTING ICE CREAM?
A Kettle + Steam = scream, but steam RISES and a kettle weighs more than a feather.

Hint: technically spoken it's not the thing I'm looking for itself that 'screams'... It's more some sort of result of it that makes it sound as if 'screams'. In fact, the 'scream' and it are usually considered brothers, not the same
Heheh, I'm feeling I'm confusing you all even more

I remember the first time I saw the puzzle I was absolutely stumped. However, I now know how it works and yeah, Baudin's got it.
Tell me then, what's the next number in this sequence?
12, 13, 14, 21, 100, ?
Sir Thursday

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

So Sir Thursday won, but he sort of already placed a new riddle, so sure

Never mind. Wiki came to my rescue
Base Numeral system
2 binary 1001
3 ternary 100
4 quaternary 21
5 quinary 14
6 senary 13
7 septenary 12
8 octal 11
9 novenary 10
over 9 (decimal, hexadecimal) 9
So the next number is a 1001. Was not sure about some of the systems

cause..hello? why is there not an active riddle whenever I get on man
the answer to the interim riddle is as follows, just like what Baudin says, but here is an explanation
1113213211 After the first line, each line describes the previous line:
One One
Two Ones
One Two, One One
(and so on...)
I'm just going to take its word for it
While we are waiting for cause to destroy our brain cells, have some of this:
Interim riddle 2 (or so)
What English word retains the same pronunciation, even after you take away four of its five letters?

eeeee? Cant think of the answer but Im sure it must be a single letter.
Looked up one again. Cant recall any good ones at the moment
Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.
