As for making the Brutii out to be scum... maybe. But then, if I had given the MA PM the chance of outing Brutus but not mentioning a possible risk to it, it would have been a no-strings-attached silver bullet, and I'd have had complaints about that (hidden mechanics) afterwards.

There are a couple of things that I'd do differently in a new version, but since each faction thinks the other is misguided at best or powerhungry scum at worst, I do not think that story portrayal in PMs is deciding.
