Ive just watched my AGOT box set for the third or fourth time. When does the second series come out on DVD?

Not till next April probably, HBO are asshats and would rather cash in on getting people ramped up for the next season by releasing the seasons right before the debut of the next...instead of the normal practice of releasing the sets a few months after they air...in this case one would expect it in Oct, or Nov, but you won't see it till spring sadly.

Thats utterly ridiculous I was expecting a near xmas release date tbh. Wouldnt they make more money releasing it before xmas though? Im trying to remember the relation to when S1 came out on DVD to the showing of S2.

That really is a shame im gonna have to beg my brother to sky+ it for me so I can watch it as he has Sky Atlantic

Thanks for ruining the Queen's Birthday, Demons. I'm sure Collingwood on top of the ladder is the last thing she would have wanted. Nice going.

The Queen is the Head of the Church of England and since God is a Collingwood fan I'm sure the Queen is mighty pleased with the outcome of todays match XD

If God is a Collingwood fan it would actually explain fundamentalist extremism - a complete lack of education, hygiene, class or a clue. ;)

Yeah, everyone expected the season 1 set at Christmas and when they finally announced it it was April, two weeks fbefore Season 2 premiered.

They won't bend on it, this is how HBO always releases their sets and they don't give a flying shit for customer demand. Seriously, I emailed them about it and the answer I got was the equivalent of "tough shit".

Some genius in higher management at work decided it was a great idea to make our job a lot harder and more annoying, ensuring it will take LONGER despite the fact that one major initiative at the moment is "get everyone out the door somewhere resembling 'almost not late' rather than 'every night we get an hour overtime or more'" (complete with email today detailing new [but seriously lacking] processes we'll be trialling to achieve this goal, on literally the same damn day we get told, basically, to take an extra couple of minutes per problem transaction for no good reason) and at the same time is going to eat into everyone's stats...meaning less bonus pay. Meaning more people quit because they think that's the only reason to work there and therefore ending up with us not only taking longer to finish the current level of work but getting swamped due to being (again) short staffed. Obviously the correct response is to quit and move to Australia where the same thing will happen only you'll be in Australia and therefore it will be better.

Bah, have to get a new debit card. 7-10 business days without any money.

Based on an overdraft that they didn't notify me of, and a fraud report that I didn't submit.

I think I'm developing allergies / hay fever...there's lots of pollen and stuff floating around the city and in past years it never bothered me but this year, eesh. My eyes are itchy, I keep sneezing, my nose is all runny and gross; stupid immune system, I don't want allergies!

Constant exposure to the same thing can cause you to develop allergies and/or intolerances to certain things. Maybe that's what has happend?

My groove is only messed with by the fact that I am not eating a kangaroo. But I'll change that some day...

Kangaroo is yummy but it is very gamey. If you like rabbit you'll probably enjoy roo.

Dear god, don't tempt me. I do enjoy rabbit, and dearly wish to try Kangaroo. It just...looks so satisfying! Like some foods really don't even have to be good, just the knowledge that you're eating them is enough. Like Lion. Not at all good, but...so satisfying.

Like a Targeryen, Canadian bacon does not burn in mere fire! Guffaw!

It must be taken beyond the wastes (Winnepeg) and north into the lands of darkness (north of the Hudson Bay), and then cast into the fires that created the Canadian Shield, from whence it came. That is the only way to crisp Canadian bacon.

Weak American's could never accomplish this.

Not to digress too much, but have you ever thought of something? The United-Statesians, and pretty much the whole world excluding Canada, has mastered the one perfect secret of the universe, the thing the Mayans, the Atlantians, the Egyptians were all looking for...Better than the philosopher's stone, the philosopher's breakfast machine! The pig! It is a BACON CONVERTER. PUT IN GRASS, RECEIVE BACON. PUT IN GARBAGE, RECEIVE BACON. PUT IN CORPSES, RECEIVE BACON!!!
Anyway, as much as they are ugly and roll in mud, so the same are the people who eat the bacon no doubt. Pigs are our friends, no matter how we despise them.
