Had the most stressful day of test exams and tests today. My last one was pushed back 2 hours and I had to actually get up and change rooms twice. I swear, the way they organise things...

I love my job, and most of the time it is great fun, challenging and ever-changing, so I never get bored for long. However there are times when it hits hard. Like tonight when I was dealing with an 18 year old girl on her first night away from home as a student who we decided had to go to hospital covered in her own urine and vomit as we thought that is she stayed at home she would probably choke to death overnight on her own sick... I suspected drink spiking but the paramedics that turned up in the ambulance said she had just drunk hideous amounts. Not a nice way to spend an evening and not nice to see someone get to that kind of state...

I FUCKING HATE CHICAGO!!!!

Parked within 15 ft of a fire hydrant temporarily in the south side (where people chuck trash out onto the street and sidewalks in broad daylight, and people double park for hours on end) and at 10:00 pm in the evening we get a parking ticket. REALLY?!!! AREN"T THERE SOME MUGGINGS YOU NEED TO ATTEND TOO!!!!!

I want to go back to Seattle, where things make sense....

Came in early to work so I could get stuff that needed done early so that I can leave early this evening...

...and the one job I was going to do has issues I have to speak with the sales person about and she doesn't come in till 11AM (as sales people usually do, the bastards).

...and the other few jobs I need to do I haven't heard back VIA email from the company I need to...so my hour and a half early in to work has been a waste of getting up at 5:30 AM.

Fuck.

If it helps, she probably has a bigger dick then him, and hooking up with someone else so soon just means he was extremely good at hiding his douchebaggery but it eventually had to surface, like the corpse of that hooker I hid in Hetan and Mal's pond under the black tarp. If you feel you can stay friends with this guy without romantic stuff getting in the way of his marriage or your friendship, then try to stay in touch if you want. Don't just do it because you're really into him though, because that'll just end in tears for all three of you, so keep looking for that special dude who isn't married or in a relationship already or covered in Sailor Moon tattoos. Just remember not to grind whichever cool dude you find's pelvis into dust the first time unless you're driving back. (I should totally start an agony uncle column here, tentatively called Dear Illy, because I have the best advice)

As for bad things for me, I didn't go out for a pint with some friends because my wisdom teeth hurt and I wasn't terribly happy, but now they're barely hurting at all and I fucked up that choice. At least I'll be out boozing tomorrow night with friends, hopefully sans teeth pain.
