Yeah, it's super annoying when companies assume that everyone has access to an internet connection every second of every day. I mean, we aren't savages, are we?

LOL, indeed.

They always talk of anti-piracy ect., but if I bought the DVD I could watch it anywhere...and didn't they have to remove the authorize-lock off of MP4's purchased from iTunes? Why can't they do that with the TV shows too?

Your main problem was using iTunes in the first place. Regardless of your feelings towards Macs, it's an abysmal piece of software.

Also, it's probably a simple block. Unless you're using a phone for internet (which I have yet to attempt sneaky evasion on) there are numerous ways to get around site blocking.

Proxies, tor, etc.

Edit: Once I got around some sophisticated wifi filtering by running a virtual instance of XP on my windows 7 computer, both of which were doing ip obscuring ninja things.

The contract manager for my job seems to be intent on moving myself and the Engineer to the Darwin office for my project.
I have no interest whatsoever to live in Darwin for an extended period of time.

Therefore, we are ignoring him and working on convicing the client it is not necessary.
