I got mine in 2007 - the one time I got the RROD was when the power in our house blew and the safety switch didn't work. Once the power came back on all I saw was red - I panicked - I grabbed every fan in the house and set them to blow cool air onto it (despite the fact it was close to 40 degrees and everyone was melting to death) and sat next to it stroking it and promising that if it turned back on a I would play Dragon Age through again in one sitting....I even sung to it....my family was somewhat concerned but thankfully when I turned it back on it was green across the board :p

Same - I keep having to choose between saved games which one to delete <_< I love my bulky white original though - I don't want the slim black one. I plan to get a special edition but they haven't released any that I like (including the current Star Wars themed one - though R2-D2 noises is cool!). At the moment Zeke is having issues - keeps having trouble reading media and the likes....I think he is finally feeling the effects of 30 hour gaming sessions over the course of the past 4 years. He just has to hold out til ME3 - it wouldn't feel right playing it on another console.....Then I'll retire him to a place of honour on my bookshelf.

Which means no drawing, sewing or gaming for me <_< And Gears of War is coming out soon! And there's a party on Friday I need a new dress for!! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!




Also, the Contest is really wearing me down...but I can't lose now, on account of my wrist :D

My crazy father who I have been estranged from for 2 years is trying to get back in contact again. Apparently he's moving to the Philippenes and buying a pineapple farm. I'd like to say this was odd behaviour but it is one of the more mundane pieces of news I've heard from him in the last 10 years! I can't decide if I should get in back in touch with him again or continue the estrangment. Decisions decisions........tis rather stressful.

You guys are pretty lucky to have it happen only once, I mean i got the first one after about 4 years and it's been pretty downhill from there with maybe 7 false alarms (like what happened what loki) and 4 real ones counting this one. Guess mine is mine is more accident prone..It is japanese by origin but i dont think that has anything to do with it..
And you think 20 gigs is bad?? mine's got only 13, which means that with all my saves which are sacred and not to be erased can only hold 2 installed games at once, sometimes only one if it's really memory intensive. But like you I will be refraining from upgrading till I see what the situation is with next-gen.

Our new landlords keep sending me text messages and emails asking how we're going with finding a new place. We have a lease until January 2012, so we're moving out as a favour to them; I'm just getting sick of being harassed when I'm working full time and doing what I can as it is to find a decent rental. Clearly they want us to move into the first sh/thole that becomes available, but I'm sorry, THAT'S NOT GOING TO CUT IT.

I realized I'm somewhat racist. How?

Well, there's a basketball court not far from where I live and I can see it quite well from the balcony. In one of the groups of teenagers who come to occupy it, there's this black kid, right. Each time I'm thoroughly surprised and amazed that, despite being fairly athletic and whatnot, he's a piss-poor basketball player, pretty much one of the worst on the court. I think that does make me racist, doesn't it?

New week, back at work and once again I'm raging! Yeah, sure, why should you guys send us files that are compatible with the InDesign version we use over here? Why bother? It's not like they, the files, came too late already, nooo, of course we can wait a week or so until someone over there bothesr to upgrade our version.. We have all the time in the world...
