My sister called to tell us she was coming over with her mom.

I may be a little hazy on the USA but I'm sure this makes her your mum too?

Pretty sure they have stepmoms and half-siblings in your part of the world.

She devoured my pineapple and blueberry king cakes. The pieces she carved out of them were cringe inducing all 4 times. Now I have to wait an entire year till I can get more. My own damn fault.

If your family will turn up and do whatever the hell they feel like without asking first you have more to worry about than king cake.
...

Seriously, does she just open the fridge/pantry and help herself without invitation to do so, or did you tell her she could and regret not hiding the king cakes?

Unless she is your mom too. Then you're s-o-l.

If you aren't the king of your own domain, do you really deserve a King Cake?

I get that hiding the cake avoids conflict. But I do think that finding a way to say "Hey, I am saving that for something later, can you have a little and leave the rest?" will help a lot in terms of setting boundaries and asking her to respect them.

If she doesn't, then she doesn't and I'd have a talk about that with her (sans mother).

Rumours are, Breastiny 3 restores the franchise to similar, game changing heights of the first after a somewhat weaker 2 installment...

Ugh the sexbot flood has hit me again on FB. This is so damn annoying. Every 3 or so hours I’m getting dinged a request by a “chick” in a bikini with either a “link to her nudes” or a “link to her personal website where I type in my address and she or another will come over and give me some”.

Delete...

I’m getting slightly pissed off.

New taxes announced. Petrol is going up a lot. About half the price of petrol in my country is taxes. We have a thing called the road accident fund, which is paid for by a fuel levy which is a government insurance agency that will pay out to people injured in motor vehicle accidents. It only covers injuries not property damage. Thing is I feel like insurance should simply be mandatory for anyone owning a car (I believe most countries do this) and we could do away with this road accident fuel levy. Why should I sponsor someone else's reckless driving. If you can afford a car you can afford your own insurance, if you cant you should not be driving.

Its about 25% Fuel levy 15% Road accident fund levy and 15% for the salaries of mandatory petrol pump attendants. Its illegal to pump petrol into your own car. Mostly I think to provide jobs in my country which already has about 30% unemployment.

Got into the office in the afternoon today. Open the door, and I'm hit with a strong smell. Kinda worried it might be a gas leak. Drop off all my stuff, leave it. Bring 2 co-workers to investigate. One of them, who's been working in the building for years, tells me it's a dead rat.

Would it help if I told you that the rat was a border-dimension spawned mutation weighing 700lbs (not counting bone spurs, spike-mane, claws, fangs, and chainsaw-chuks)?

My entire family has the flu. Except me, i've got the flu and a sinus infection!

Luckily, its a pretty tame strain.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.
