Amp/QT is that Nor'Easter hitting yall yet? We got tremendous wind down here yesterday, like 30+ mph gust. It wasn't cool at all.

It's sleet here. Piled up to maybe an inch outside.

Not that much wind, just precipitation freezing before it hits the ground.

Came to get to my old morning commute train to see flames spouting somewhere from below middle of the second wagon and the rail employers just noticing it.
One of them started shouting and went to train to switch everything in the wagon off and evacuate people, the other one casually strode inside the building for a fire distinguished and soon was done with it. After a while the first one came running from the train with quite big old distinguisher shouting again and he had to run all the way around the train before the other one bothered to tell him the flames are already gone.
We're moving now, although the second wagon is closed.

I just drove home in it from work. 50 miles of just sleet. Southern VT to Southern NH.

So just when I thought my life had slowed down and freed up a bit, things go to utter shit. The Samsung refrigerator - only 3 years old, just stopped working. Called the service people, they came, poked around, and said something about the thermocol being cracked. I asked about repair costs, and they drop the bombshell - its not repairable - I need to buy a refrigerator.

This is just so utterly shitty. Our previous refrigerators lasted 12 and 16 years. And this pile of junk dies in 3!!!
I am done with Samsung.

New refrigerator - just like that.

I am now overly acquainted with our toilet.

We have had high winds, and some rain, but nothing extreme.

That's a trick question. It heavily depends which part of Canada they are from.

I mean, if you're having coffee to help you wake up quickly I imagine BK's method is probably quite an efficient one...

Broke up with the girlfriend tonight. I'm actually quite upset about this. Dating about a month but I actually saw potential and thought things were going well.

Been on 15 dates or more and I paid every time. Tonight she invited me to a dinner party of 10 people or so and I paid only for myself. She invited me and it was not a date so I didn't pay for her meal.

I got 20 minutes of silent treatment and then a break up while at the post bar drink up. I left without saying goodbye to her friends because honestly I don't know how you tell them 'was nice meeting you tonight bit I am leaving because your friend just broke up with me'.

Feel quite hard done by. She said it was u gentlemenly. I said I was not a credit card.

Suddenly she launched into a list of grievances. She told me she liked Ryan gosling and romantic movies so I downloaded LA LA land for us. Apparently I should have taken her to dinner first. I don't want to spend time with her because when I had a stomach bug and a fever I cancelled a date.

It's not just that it ended, it's that I thought things were going well and apparently we were on completly different pages.

'She told me she liked Ryan gosling and romantic movies'

That should have been your first warning.

Seriously though, that really sucks. She sounds potentially high maintenance to me, so maybe in the long run it's better it's ended now than later? I don't know. I suck at these things. Usually I just say 'Bitches, man' and punch a shoulder before offering to shoot some zombies together or something.

In agreeance with Loki here. From your description, she just seems selfish to me. Getting pissy because your new partner didn't pay for an event you were going to regardless is entitlement no matter how you swing it. Also, if she's been bottling up a list of 'grievances' after a month, she doesn't sound like somebody who is good at communication and compromise.

TL:DR - I reckon you dodged a bullet, no matter how hard it might feel now.
