It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Yes. Every Monday my mates and I go to a pub, have a few beers, sample the parmigiana and lament the end of yet another weekend. It's great fun.

Won $80 on the pokies tonight. Boo yeah.

Today while I was out walking my parents dog, a little kid ran up to it.

Our dog was mistreated by its former owners and as such is not comfortable with strangers and avoids children like the plague. It's not like it will bite or become aggressive, it's just very skittish and will walk in a big ring around people if it doesn't trust them.

It seems the kid must have snuck up on the old girl, because suddenly the dog saw the kid, and she immediately sort of jumped back and then barked like mad.

This scared the shit of the kid, making it quickly turn tail and in it's hast to flee the scene the little bastard fell and skinned its knee's.

Afterwards the dog was all proud that it had managed to scare off this terrible predator that nearly attacked us.

I love that stupid dog.

Free half-hour cab ride! Drunkenly chatting with cabbies can have its benefits after all.

New hair. Yay.

I must confess to a little prejudice. When I discovered the man cutting my hair was a heterosexual, I panicked. It turned out ok though!

East Bound and Down is making me real happy because I'm laughing my ass off.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Did some seeerius work last night on the phone and got me a hot date with a cool chick...Now all i got to do is not fuck up...Shit I'm in trouble. Read somewhere that its a good idea to be cool as a cucumber at the start of the date and "warm to them" as the evening progresses. Well, as long as I don't get drunk, I'll manage.
