I'll be taking a laptop along to QLD for work purposes. However, internet is indiscriminate, which means I can also keep up to date with my friends via FB. That's a small comfort.

Moved into my new place and have an awesome 5th floor view, and a walk in wardrobe, and a massive shower, and an en-suite all to myself, and a kitchen with a PANTRY oh god I love having a pantry again!!!!

got my memo finished (see bitching thread as of yest), although it took me all night.

Realized I can still pull off all-nighters (after a shift at work, no less), and stay mostly fresh for the next day, when I have to be walking around courts and pay attention all day long.

plus, got only supervising shifts at work this week, after enduring a full week of calling shifts.
and with the memo out of the way, i'm more or less back on track with the schoolwork I need to be keeping up with.
After a slow lull at the beginning of the semester, things are finally starting to settle in and i'm almost back to my usual pace.

The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard
