I use a razor like Emperor Magus describes. I also use my father's badger brush that he still had lying around from his younger days in Nepal before he came here.
It's much better for me than the disposable razors. I was never tempted by the straight razors though. Those need to be so sharp and welded by another person - ie a barber.
Mine is a Merkur long handled razor and I like the weight and length of it very much. Gave my older brother one too.

I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I'm mostly bald and refuse to pay someone simply to run a clipper through the little hair I've got, so all my haircuts are self-inflicted.
I hate shaving, and am lucky enough that it's not required for work more than 2 or 3 times a week. I just use crappy disposable razors. Three or four times a year I treat myself to an oldschool hot shave at the barbershop. Damn near better than sex.

Shaving sucks and they should ban it. If I wanted the experience of seeing your bald face I'd dive eyeball-first into Hell.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Disagree. A face or head straight razor shave by a professional is a glorious thing.

I can usually get away with shaving twice a week (Monday and Thursday) for work, with quick touchups on sideburns and moustache every morning, purely because I don't like having hair there.
Unless I have a hearing during the week- then I shave properly as well. Or if i have to go out- then I might also shave.
I've been using Gilette Mach 3 ever since I started shaving when I was..... 19 maybe?
On topic: 2 wins for my soccer teams this week. Today had an early game, so may have a productive evening AND go to bed at a decent hour.

Absolutely the same here. I started shaving at 19, use Gillette Mach 3, and I shave twice a week, unless I have a presentation.
My father used to have a safety Razor like the one EM was talking about. Problem is its pretty tough to get good blades here

I just use amazon. There is always a guy shipping 100 for $10 from somewhere in Asia. Far far cheaper than Gillettes however you look at it.

You know I genuinely have not considered using the online option. Guess I am just so used to buying this stuff at the local shop, it never crossed my mind.

They came with white hands and left with red hands.

*happy dance*

...wait, wrong type of happy dance!
<-- that's the one!
The owner of our local comic store is giving the family free passes to Supernova. I haven't been in years. There's just one condition - the new girl is dressing as Scarlet Witch and I'm not allowed to rant at her about how much I hate Scarlet Witch. So I've been focusing my rage towards Medusa instead. Hopefully, that'll be enough (it won't be enough).

I haven't wet shaved in... shit I don't know actually several years anyway.
I just run an electric trimmer over my face like once a week set at number 2 on its dial, whatever that length is. Usually friday evening and it does me well, wet shaving is a ballache that no-one needs. constant stubble is the easiest way to live.

It's the awards do tonight! Our falconry centre is up for Best Yorkshrie Attraction in a York radio station's awards, and there's 17 of us off to the ceremony tonight. No idea how well we will have done (we're up against some much bigger things in the top five) but just making the top five is pretty awesome. If you're in the top three you have to walk on stage and collect something. Wish us luck!

Left work at about 2pm for lunch and afternoon drinks with a friend visiting from Brisbane, was awesome to catch up and also awesome to finish work 3.5 hours early instead of 3.5 hours late for once!

So I've been back from Italy since Saturday.
Since then I've had both my boys in fits of laughter (consistently), had some quality time with Herself and generally had a wonderful time.
Also had a massive rebate from HMRC, broke the triple jump WR on Mario and Sonic Rio 2106 on the Wii U, made me dad grin from ear to ear with his new F1 wheel nut and my missus got offered a new job yesterday too.
My luck has turned (except for my mad Wii U skills, that's pure talent man)!!
I'm just waiting to run into one of those clowns to spoil it all!!
