I think i am going for Nursing.. I am somewhat terrified going back to school and the amount of steps...this means..i have been reading the materials and wonder if I am intelligent enough...I love talking to people!!...that's my skill-set... how to explain that to others....

but it's still a positive focus..and today that feels good. I have done sales forever..i'm good at it and it's easy..but totally not satisfying. It doesn't make me happy.

time to break my comfort zone.

Quite honestly the concept of Nurse Nico brings tears of joy to my eyes.

What exactly is this dish BK? Looks like shredded fish and shrimp with some type of herbs made into a broth over rice.

That is exactly what it is! The fish were caught by the old man. The only thing that went that went wrong was that the fish indeed became shredded this time. Usually it's nice big hunks of them. It's one of the simplest things thrown together that wind up tasting like it was a gift from the Cajun gods.

Onions, bel peppers, garlic

Mmm that would be delicious. I have a feeling I would like Cajun cuisine.

I am interested by the use of rice. How common an ingredient is it in the US? Its basically a staple over here.

Well it is down here for sure. Almost every dish roast, gumbo, etouffee, chillie & many more consist of it. Funny enough our neighbors who moved down here from Montana where baffled by our use of it but have been 100% converted.

Well given your position in the delta I suspect you have similar environmental conditions to ours, so I bet rice is easier to grow and thus more common.

It goes really well with brothy dishes, especially spicy ones. I mean we rarely have nay dish by itself you know. We always combine it with rice.

Ahhhhhh. That moment when you get into bed on one of those days when your only goal has been to survive to bedtime.

Started a new job yesterday.

Wasn't the job I was initially meant to be starting BUT the one I started was a promotion which was even better. Plus I am still going to be doing my accountancy training in the new job too, so double bonus.

Got offered a job...( not in sales.. Don't think I can put up with stress ) wish me luck. Its consultative sales .. Which is easy compared to direct sales .. See what I did there??

Super crazy good gig......

Life has never been stranger than right now. I have had the most amount of time off in my life ....Which should be fun, but mainly go over all the mistakes I have made..

Im figuring out career change and just starting over at 33... Which is scary... But exciting ... Will I make the gamble

I saw Eric idle and John Cleese last night. It's the closest I will ever get to seeing Monty Python live, and it was great. It's hard to say just how much those two guys influenced my comedic sensibilities, but it's a lot.
