There is no need. Anything we do to you would be superfluous. It'd be like kicking a dead puppy - theoretically no harm done, but strangely sad and icky. ;)

But then, i don't watch tv for musical entertainment unless it involves Lady Gaga bathing in Kermit the Frog's steaming entrails while lipsynching 'Poker Face'.

OK, now I'm interested ...

While we're making shameful confessions, I am enjoying CHOPPED beyond all reason or logic. I'm a fan of good food and watching talented or not so talented chefs scramble to whip up gourmet dishes with insanely random ingredients in 30min just fascinates me, despite the lack of kicky/stabby, 'splosions or anything resembling a Cylon or evil conspiracy.- Abyss, ...suspects Ted may be a cylon and the Dharma Initiative is setting the ingredient list...

But you see, Michelle Forbes was in BSG and True Blood. And in True Blood she played ... quite the epicurean (without getting all spoilerific). So your mind has linked the 2, quite logically.

Now imagine a True Blood / BSG crossover ... the possibilities are endless, especially after the season 2 finale! :)

Michelle Forbes is brilliant and i only hope she's brought back as Miranda Zero if they do ressurrect GLOBAL FREQUENCY.

And Sookie is clearly Starbucks next incarnation.

So i'm watching tv last night and see HUMAN TARGET is on. Wondering if maybe i was unfair to the pilot, i turn to it and start watching. Three boring minutes of predictable expository dialogue in car, then Mr Super Uber Bodyguard, who is driving, takes a file from other dude and starts to read it. While he's driving. Yes, he is a specialist in the fine art of not getting people killed, so good at what he does that he can productively analyze a messy pile of loose documents in seconds. While driving. Jeez, it's like they aren't even trying.

The second episode did feature Mr. Super Uber Bodyguard

, which was awesome, but also featured a ridiculous scene down in the section with the wheels, which was just ridiculous.

Started watching the American version of the Office. I have to admit, I was dubious about how good it was going to be (I think there is something very British about a lot of the humour in the original) but Steve Carrell really makes it work. I mean the first season is mostly a straight script rip off of the British one but I think there have been some excellent cringe moments (which is why one watches the Office after all...) and I have heard that from the second season onwards, it becomes more original. I like it. :)

Managed to get my hands on some old DVDs of the series Millenium (which was a sort-of spinoff of The X-Files). Decent premise, with some very odd and very dark stories (and a great lead actor in Lance Henrikson). Could have been a great show, but once again we were let down by a lack of a clear plan as to how they wanted the series to proceed long term.

And having just watched the first few episodes of season 3 again, I have to say both the character and the actress playing the role of the rookie FBI agent are possibly the most annoying i have come across on TV. No wonder the series died in season 3!

Looking forward to more of the shows i like restarting soon.

Just started watching Firefly, since apparently it's beyond awesome according to some people. The pilot looked quite promising. And I do like Nathan Fillion. Castle is hilarious.

@ MTS - you're lucky to be starting out watching Firefly. It IS an excellent show. There are a few slower episodes, but the gradual reveals are great and there was at least the feeling that it did all have a plan.

If you are watching it from a box-set, then wait for episode 6, "Our Mrs Reynolds" which is really funny. Episode 8, "Out of Gas", and the final episode "Objects in Space" are also excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole lot, but those were the standouts for me.

I'm a big fan of Nathan Fillion as well after Firefly, and as a result I quite enjoy Castle too. It's a pity there isn't half of the chemistry between him and his co-star in Castle (Det Beckett - Stana Katic) as there was between him and Inara (Morena Baccarin) in Firefly.

I've recently started watching "True Blood" after a heap of people recommended it. Clearly they're all a bunch of soft-core porn fans because holy hell there's a lot of sex...

I broke that trail on here my friend. Strangely, no one made fun of me. I love that show.

At least you admit it. Millions of people watch the show and deny any knowledge of it.

GLEE is one of those shows like NCIS that succeeds beyond anyone's wildest expectations despite a lame concept, unknown cast, little hype and a bad timeslot. No one admits to watching these, yet they win in ratings week after week.

I tried a couple of eps of GLEE and it didn't grab me. But then, i don't watch tv for musical entertainment unless it involves Lady Gaga bathing in Kermit the Frog's steaming entrails while lipsynching 'Poker Face'.

I like watching Chopped as well. As well as Iron Chef. Despite knowing I wouldn't eat half of what they made because I'm, unfortunately a picky eater. All the same though, if it's on and I find it, it usually stays on until the end of the episode.

Re: True Blood.

Yes, it has a LOT of sex. And Sookie is smoking hot. But, it does actually have a pretty neat plot along with it.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Awesome! It's definitely one of the best.

Oh, and Skins season 4. What. The. Hell. The third season was pretty damn sweet, but this season has just jumped off the Awesome Boat and into a giant sea of crazy. I mean,
Spoiler

Eh, I'll still watch it, but it's kind of annoying me at the moment.
