As a lifelong Arsenal fan, I've seen them throw away far more commanding positions than this many, many hundreds of times. Hell, within the last couple of weeks! And it always happens when we miss lots of easy chances like we have in this game. Walcott should have just scored.

And Ronaldo should have been booked there 100%, clear handball, linesman and ref saw it easy, yet they let him off. He gets away with everything, how many times does he dive and isnt booked?

Same and Clichy's clear handball in the area that was waved away? ;)

In fairness, I'm not watching the game at all, so I'm just going by the BBC text commentary.

Eugh, Wenger's amking the same subs to try and "close out the game" as he did against the spuds. Remind me, how well did that go?

Brilliantly, in my recollection ;) And now Tevez is on, right after meeting his new national manager (and best player in the world, ever) so he'll be desperately trying to impress.

Words cant express how much Im bricking it right now. We're bound to lose. I can picture my dad right now, in an executive box, scoffing down the free food and booze in preparation of the imminent and demoralising collapse. He's no fool, a free ticket shall be made the most of.

Looks like a foregone conclusion. Expect a 2-2 draw.

Pah, nonsense. There's about 6 mins left, easily time for Arsenal to concede at least 3. That managed to let in 2 in 4 mins against spurs at the end, so if I were old rednose I'd still be confident of a win.

I agree. They might even score a third.

PHEW.

Cant believe that. Clichy didnt get a clean sheet, but I dont care. We won a game!!! Hooray!!!

And if we had someone who could kick a ball, rather than Bendtner, who knows how we could have done!

I hope Arsenal mount a serious title offence. I wanted Chelsea to win at the start of the season for Lampard's sake but I've been somewhat unimpressed by most of the rest of their team, I don't like the rest of the team much. As most people know I'm supporting Aston Villa this season but it would be good to see Tottenham rampage up the table now.

I'm a bit ambivalent about the whole premier league and who I want to win it issue to be honest.

Good point. HULL!!! Although the city, the location and the University stink. (no offence to anyone who may be offended...)
