They may have some great talent coming through the junior set-up, but ever since they lost Viera, they've almost always been short in a battle. Unless Whinger gives them some spine quickly, they're on a bad slope. Can't say I'll cry too much about it :D

As a gooner I have to agree. It's all very well us having a bunch of talented kids coming up from the academy, but that doesn't win us games/titles/trophies right NOW! We did have a perfect captain in waiting, Gilberto Silva, who was then promptly tranferred to Panathanaikos for some strange reason. We need a couple of experienced campaigners to put a bit of steel into the team - and then, watch out world!

ROOOOOOOOOOOOONAY! ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONAY!

Good game today. Rooney was great, Park was great, Evra was great. Ronaldo is a tit but who cares. City's defence is shocking and we should probably have had more but who cares.

After results like Arsenal's yesterday you do wonder sometimes against weaker teams.

top of the table again! w00h00.
Only listened to the match last night, watched the extended highlights today, mien got but we should have put that match to bed and secured the 3 points so many times, hell Hypia could have had a hat trick!
Dossena finally put in a decent performance, solid enough that I no longer fret over aurelios injury prone nature.
I still can not understand why Benitez didnt field a better team against tottenham in the carling cup, theres players (benayoun most prominently, he was brilliant last night) that rarely get first team footy that would have really stiffened liverpools resolve. pah.

How bad are Man U playing lately? They have more talent than most teams in the world but they are playing a bloody awful brand of football.

It's not really an 'awful brand'. We're just not really clicking so we're grinding out results. We played some neat stuff against City anyway, we just couldn't finish.

It's a theme for us to start of slow and pick up as the season goes on, we'll kick after Christmas I reckon.

I think all football followers could agree on Ronaldo. On a side note, Rafa reckons Torres could be out for the rest of the season. Unless Keane can bring his game up to a whole new level, we could be in trouble methinks.

Louis Sahaha and Tomas Rosicknote say hi.

Oh, and Ledley King, a professional footballer who can't play twice in a week because it might cripple him.

Still, Anderton... I don't really care about him but he was one of those figures who made a mark on the early Prem, if mostly by his absences, so he'll be missed.

On Torres, they managed to beat us and Chelsea without him, it shouldn't cripple them.

*breathes sigh of relief*

I have to say Sunderland defended well but our problems in breaking teams down are starting to worry me. Last season when teams came and played us like that we tore them apart.
