    Saw SHEEP DETECTIVES.
    I regret nothing.

I’m excited for this one. The trailer looked hilarious.

    Backlog.

Wife and I finished Handmaids Tale. First handful of seasons were pretty good to good. Last 2 were just ok. Won’t watch again.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. 8 episodes in and I’m still not sure if I like it. Pretty cheesy at times, some really sub par acting, but somehow I keep watching. We’ll see.

Your Friends and Neighbors. I’m a big John Hamm fan so this one’s easy. It’s not overly anything, just an enjoyable popcorn show. Plus Olivia Munnnnnnnn.

Rooster. If you like the thought of Michael Scott with a daughter who writes books and teaches at a liberal arts college, and his boss is the surgeon from Scrubs, this show is for you.

11/22/63. I have no idea how this show has an 8 on IMDb. It starts out ok, other than James Franco is a terrible actor, but seriously looses momentum and kind of limps to the finish line.

The Pitt. The Pitt fucking rules.

Season 3 of Shrinking was a step down. It was still solid and I’ll re-watch it, but it’s not up to the same heights as the first 2 seasons.

Ole lady and I just started Paradise last night 3 episodes in. I’m intrigued, So far so good.

    I’m sure I’m forgetting something.

Finished DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL....um...I don't understand the praise.

This book is like listening in on your 9 year old brother and his friends giving a 13 hour play by play of their video games while also interjecting their 9 year old opinions on what is cool and funny.

Might be easier to keep track of all the dungeons, bugs, weapons, random players, coloured dots, boxes, potions, spells, goblins, training guilds, levels, staircases, floors, etc if they weren't noted every few paragraphs, on every page, FOREVER.

Like I'm a fan of LitRPG, THE CRADLE series is awesome...(as an example)

But this series is not for me.

Bonus annoyance: Also, finding out that for story reasons Carl stays in a pair of heart-adorned white boxer shorts for the entire series...will never not irk me as a reader. Just no. I got the initial deadpool-equse joke of him being in them when the world first ends and stuck in them for book 1....sure?...but the fact that he remains in them for multiple books is utterly insane.

    What are you all smoking?

I’m pretty much the complete opposite. I had 12 Months and No Life Forsaken ready to go, but decided to give Carl a quick try first. I was hooked from the first chapter.

It perfectly scratches that nerd, comedy, DnD itch. So of course I blew through every single book.

It’s also the most quotable book I’ve read, maybe ever.

And again, opposite, I love the pop ups and notifications. They’re hilarious. And give a hundred little insights into the world and the ai running the game.

I’ll need to do a re-read to see exactly where it fits, but it’s easily top 10 for me, it’ll probably crack the top 5.
