  1. Goodreads Thread

    07 January 2019 - 05:18 PM

I've been getting into Goodreads lately, it's fun.
What's not fun? Having no friends that read fantasy so my feed is filled with Murder Mysteries and Thrillers.

I can't be the only one in that situation. So I thought it would be interesting to connect with other Malazan-reading Goodreads users in this thread. Mostly because I want to mine all your profiles for good books to read once my list runs out.

    I'll start: Here's me!

I searched and couldn't find any similar threads, maybe people don't like posting their Goodreads info, that's cool too.

My father was born in Wales and a few years back I decided to take a welsh language course. Can't remember much but the alphabet. Ever since I automatically read things as though they are in welsh. So, D is d, dd is th, f is v, ff is f, ll is...actually, not sure how to write that one, schl maybe?

I didn't write that well. I was meant to be asking if the dd is pronounced as dd (bedding) or th (as in bydd).
You're right though, Dadding does sound like something fathers would do. Term for tell awful dad jokes, perhaps?
