Very true. Hey Shiara, I'll meet you in New Zealand, or Hawaii....that's about halfway :D

Fairly sure it'd cost more to add in a stopover - how about I just meet you there? :D

[EDIT] Hope you guys have fun, I probably won't make it - maybe next year :(

Well it's not just any barbeque, you get to see an arm wrestling cougar, get to stand in the rain whilst eating a black sausage which is still frozen in the middle and if you're really lucky Broody will come in his Jean Luc Picard bondage gear (by which I mean he will arrive in his JLP bondage gear, not what you were thinking)

You get to see an arm wrestling Cougar against a Baby Tiger :( And I think a Chicken will want to get involved as well.

Shiara or Xander, if you ever plan to come to one of these things and you want an extended trip then if circumstances are right (and I feel I know you well enough) etc. etc. then it might be possible to cost save by sharing my accomodation. At the moment I have absolutely no idea what or where my accomodation will be at that point at time, it might be in Bristol, Bath or at home by Swindon; it depends on my placement and when it starts next year (sometime in July). I would hope to get the same treatment because renting out is so expensive :D and coming over for one day is definitely a bit wasteful.

Anyway, I have bright hopes for this meeting up. I'm just trying to work out how much of a power advantage Cougar will have :p
Cougar, If I were to say I have as much power as Brood and expected to beat you, would you laugh at me? :D

Dancer I'll buy you all the meals of whatever you people eat over there, if that's the case.

Tea and Crumpets for all if I make it!!

Would love to go. But I haven't mastered teleportation by mind yet.

Get back to me on that one.

Maybe end of next year start or of 2010 I might.

Now feeling decidedly English.

"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

Do you have any idea just how incredibly cheap that is? I pay more to go to Alaska way out of season.

Take the chance, come to england! Get drunk on good beer instead of piss!

Which reminds me: Hetan, Mal knows to buy good beer this time around yes? :D

And GA, we can drink whisky together :D

:D That's a damn shame Liz, exactly who am I supposed to discuss relative genitalia sizes (of the characters) with now, not even with the offer of a free lift down? I feel snubbed. Maybe we could get you in on a telecon?:p

Well the only reason I got involved in the whole sorry afair in the first place was because Broody had been beaten by Mal. I beat Mal. I don't want to turn this into a big deal I'm sure we will have a laugh. If you want an idea of my power levels check out my picture in the 'whats in a name' thread I'd say slightly above Broody but below 'Cat Tank'. :D

If you told me you had as much power as Brood (as in Jon, not the Barghast ascendant) then I'd wonder how you manged to leave the house each day:D .

Yeah Liz, give it serious consideration! It won't be the same without you there.
*wonders how he knows this*

Of course, there's no point of doing it if it's not a laugh :(

I would love to attend, but I won't know for sure until the date gets much closer. It all depends on when we're able to sell my nan's house, as I'll be using some of my share to travel. I'm very hopeful I can make it. :(

Does this coincide somewhat with SE's booksigning tour?
I might be able to scrounge up enough money for a plane ticket. Put me down for maybe.

considered their scholarly will.
He lowered his head
and with anguish he said,

@Dancer: During my visit was my first chance to attempt to play with a 360, and, not knowing beforehand how to activate the wireless controller, ended up holding down the flashy button in the middle for about a halfsecond too short before giving up and CONDEMNING THE CONTROLLER FOR DEFYING ME

It was very funny.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Pfft. We've been able to do that in Yorkshire for years. We're just too lazy to bother with it.

I'd love to see the wrestling match :p

Maybe we should generate a list like for the Manchester event of definites, maybes and maybe very unlikely - obviously within loose categories.
