Looks like we might need more beer even than last year, although even Illy and Rich the Great didn't manage to make that much of a dent in the stock pile - lightweights all!
I blame Paleman for trying to get me drunk on gin and tonics. I am possibly attending this year, reliant on money/what I'm doing at the time, given it was a grand laugh last time round. Oh, and this time I might be persuaded to wrestle, and I won't throw up from undercooked chicken.

yeah,. cause it was the chicken that made you throw up. You had even less to drink than Sarah, and she's hardly the biggest person in the world
@Urb - real men - includes women too- drink beer and brown liquor

Beer gives you gas, and makes you go to the bathroom every 15 minutes.
Sure, it tastes good, but wine also tastes good. Can't argue with logic.
Also, Urb is a big fan of brown liquor. Always has a bottle of whiskey in his room in case people with good taste come to visit.

Just found your site. Love the Erikson books(is it Cook, or Erikson just influenced by him?). Situated in NY. Wife is Irish(Tullamore). But, with the $ at 1.56 and rising, better chance of me defeating the Emperor than making the BBQ. Sounds great. And you know, us Yanks know how to BBQ!

Intrigued by this after getting a personal invite by CB at the Abercrombie signing on Thursday. I should be back in Colchester permanantly by the end of May, from which it is pretty easy to get to Cambridge and back. Do we have a precise date?

It looks likely to be Saturday 12th July.
Hoping it stops snowing long enough for Mal to finish off the new, improved and larger deck we're building to accommodate the attendees.
Personally I am looking forward to seeing Sara's (Morgy's girlfriend) amazing dart-throwing skills in action again and it's not every day you get the chance to see a chicken arm-wrestling with a cougar
We've also got a few other tournaments in mind to entertain you all with this time round, but more of that later

Sarah's ready for a rematch she says, so no worries about that ^^ .. And I'm ready to try on anyone because I get way to onfident in my own abilities and strenght when I'm drunk .. Which is kinda ridiculous seeing how slender I am :morgoth:

Last time I went go-karting (the first time) I was too heavy to keep up with the best of the best - damn those skinny people. Saying that I did get the 3rd best lap, the final was hilarious. I had the worst kart ever, I was blocking a line of karts behind me, the kart was seriously so slow I had to block immediately onto the straight. It was 10 seconds a lap slower than the leader (where the leaders were going 34-35 seconds)
We'll see how it goes, we could probably fit both in somehow

Most go karts have a little hand-sized space in the back of the engine, where you can adjust the speed. Crank it all the way to the right (at least here in the states), and blow the other people away, unless its a very open course and its already cranked all the way open.

This sounds good, not colliding with everything else this year. I might very well attend!

I'd like to steer us away from any non-drinking activities as the longer I'm sober the longer you'll have to put up with my actual personality or lack there of.
