He's not the top seller. Wert posted the details and he's up there in the top 10 I think but he's not the best, thank God.

This show will bomb, don't worry. Goodkind supporters are too busy involved in turd eating contests worldwide to watch TV series.

Strange as it sounds, if the books had never been (poorly) written, WFR might make for a pretty cool movie. A lot of cool stuff happens, its just written in such a way as to make the reader want to pull out his brains through his nose with a coathanger.

A TV series though? how many episodes do you need to stretch it out? Is there going to be a whole episode of Richard walking Kahlan through the woods, asking questions she won't answer, then finding a silly special pine tree that they can have a romantic campfire?

Just be grateful Goodkind didn't write "Star Wars, the Novel" before Lucas came up with the idea.

How the hell did any of you make it past the first chapter?

You all must have a seriously high tolerance for painful failure in written form.

I can't wait to hear "Bags!" audibly as a curse word.....so...inventive Terry.

I'm really surprised Terry didn't name Richard "Lighten" to face his arch nemesis "Darken". ;)

I can't believe this isn't just a joke. TG gets a series? Really? This is the day television jumps the shark.

Lighten Rahl fights Darken Rahl in a steel cage match situated a 100 yards above Times Square.

Why is this bad? I thought it was a clever trick by Darken Rahl. I'd liken it to Russia dropping bombs disguised as toys over Afghanistan

How is it worse than Frag or blood and ashes?

I think that Goodkind made a lot of good inventions in the series. It's his writting that pisses me off

I'll never forgive him for the chicken though...

Blood and bloody ashes is an awesome curse! I mean, not as good as Hood's hairy balls on an anvil, but pretty good.

I always figured "Bags!" was a variation on "Balls!"... y'know.... balls...testicles... sack.... 'bag'.

Bloody chicken.

- Abyss, now bleeding from the .... nevermind.

I just saw these two gifs on the EBW forums and I actually thought they might be from the Sword of Truth series.

They're not, they're from some kind of superman movie or series, but the guy looks like a dead ringer for Dicky Rahl in his war wizard outfit.

"Blood and ashes" is superior to "Bags!" Apt, and if I have to teach you that...well then everyone on this forum has failed you :D
