I speculate The Goodkind will thoroughly distance himself from the TV series.
At least the first two books or so are relatively free of his Ayn-Rand-is-God silliness. I can't see Raimi taking any of that seriously in any event.
I would bet tall dollars they dodge around the whole mord sith sex torture thing while still findning ways to have as many women as possible wear leather bikinis. Raimi had this down to a science in the Herc and Xena series'.

That aside, theres better pictures about of rgan but shes not really hawt, the guy playing richard looks like a pansy and the premise they are touting it with is even worse than the blurb on the book.

Sadly, Goodkind outsells every other fantasy author. That's why he gets a TV show. And he includes leather-clad dominatrices in his stories. He can't write all that well, but at least he fills his novels with sex and violence... and leather-clad dominatrices.
